Had to repeat it several times slowly for a correct reading. ### 2/5 — Active voice *2015-10-17, version 1.6* I need more words to use this. I need to revisit the text but it disappears as soon as I say anything new. Very expensive lesson learned. It doesn't have much of a purpose, if one could use it too write a paper verbally, that would be cool. However, if I dictate more than a few lines, access to the remainder of the dictation is not possible within the application since it is covered by the keyboard and cannot be scrolled. That is unfortunate, since the accuracy of the dictation is very good. I asked a developers about this problem in February but as of today's date (March 16) they have not responded. Fast and accurate *2019-01-06, version 1.6.6* A+ ### 5/5 — Transcribes medical terms accurately. *2018-10-09, version 1.6.6* Privacy policy is not immediately clear, but the app transcribe some medical terms accurately. Just as good as the medical version of Dragon in my experience. The app is powered by the nuance speech recognition engine. Not sure why it's gotten lower ratings, nevertheless, I will continue to use it and watch. Right now I'll give it a four out of five. ### 4/5 — Great concept, but... *2015-01-22, version 1.6* This needs to be a keyboard extension. Having to open a separate app to input text is *so* iOS 7! Not a five-star app because it doesn’t blow me away, and an extension would come close to doing that. So a good solid four because it does exactly what it’s says it will do, and it does it well. BTW, this is not intended to be a digital transcriber for lectures, meetings, and the like. it’s clearly meant to allow the user to dictate messages — at close range — and convert the speech to text. If you want what is effectively a digital life transcriber, you’ll likely need to shell out quite a bit more money and devote quite a bit more processing power to the task. And probably use something other than an iPad. ### 3/5 — Ok but can use some enhancements *2014-08-25, version 1.5* Like most dictating devices, it slaughters your intended sentences and you must manually correct, neat feature is for the corrections you can select the incorrect section, press record, dictate again, and it types over what was selected. Con is it needs more visible lines for longer dictations. The Keyboard gets in the way and it does not scroll down to view.
