### 3/5 — App Needs Updating

*2026-07-10*

The app isn’t developing fast enough to keep up with how it’s population tracks their workouts. For example I am a runner, most of my workouts are primarily running, the app doesn’t always connect to my garmin and sometimes doesn’t record my steps. I also focused on the workout and not snapping a selfie of myself while I am running. If I am going to use an app there should be an expected level of convenience when using it that this does not have. There should be an option for me to upload a dated screenshot of my workout. I beg of you to bring the app up to date with how people use their fitness devices in 2026.

### 2/5 — Works When it Wants To

*2026-04-02*

Automatic check-in only works some of the time. When I try to do a self check-in when I’m home after a realize the automatic check in didn’t work, it defaults to pending, forever.

### 2/5 — Terrible

*2026-01-30*

Have to constantly delete and reinstall this thing to sync with Apple Health.

### 2/5 — Steps don’t transfer over from Health app

*2026-01-20*

I use an Apple Watch and my phone to track my steps and it usually works great the past 6 months, a little glitchy, but I just checked my progress and ActiveFit didn’t track for a whole week where my goal was hit for 4 of those days. Now I have to try and make up those days with future days.

### 2/5 — Needs some work

*2026-01-13*

Updated my app and now it doesn’t open. Just stalls on the symbol. Even before the update the app was marginal. It’s supposed to automatically record my visits and it never does that. I always have to add them manually.

### 2/5 — Inconsistent Tracking

*2026-01-13*

I’ve used this app for years in conjunction with my health insurance. If I do not periodically open the app, the steps do not sync, even if my Apple health recorded the steps for that day. Not being able to retroactively sync with Apple health is asinine. There were months that I didn’t meet my steps goal while training for a marathon. Says enough.

### 2/5 — Suddenly stopped working

*2025-12-29, version 3.2.4*

It had just stayed in the A screen waiting to load. I have checked for updates - nothing, deleted and redownloaded it multiple times. It’s very inconvenient to know I could be loosing out on money because this app wont log my workouts.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t sync with Apple watch correctly

*2025-11-21, version 3.2.3*

I hit my smart walking goal almost everyday of the month. When I check I have months that show only 1 day. The developers say they have fixed the issues but they haven’t.

### 2/5 — Was working

*2025-11-18, version 3.2.3*

It logged my first 5 days now it stopped logging. I checked my apple health and my iwatch everything including my main steps app is working fine. I need this app for my job and now I’m missing days

### 1/5 — Worst App

*2025-11-18, version 3.2.3*

Most times app glitches out, content refreshes often that you can’t see how many workout days are completed, and failed to process selfies. Missing health related content. Poorly build app that failed to nudge its user to stay active.

### 2/5 — Not logging gym check ins

*2025-11-05, version 3.2.3*

This app has missed several of my gym check ins.

### 1/5 — Constantly disconnecting from Fitbit

*2025-11-04, version 3.2.3*

If I don’t remember to reconnect my Fitbit every couple days , it does not sync and I miss my reward. It’s totally annoying.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2025-10-13, version 3.2.2*

This app is awful. Errors constantly. Doesn’t pick up steps or load with systems that does. Take it down, start from scratch. All of this to get a few $$ back from an insurance who is paying their CEO millions. Spend some money on the technology!!

### 1/5 — Frequently Doesn’t Sync

*2025-09-13, version 3.1.0*

Unless you go into the app every day, it WILL stop syncing and you will lose days that it will not retroactively sync. I never have this problem with other health apps. The lost days are usually the difference between me getting the benefit and not, so when it comes down to it ActiveFit is just another worthless scam.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2025-09-11, version 3.1.0*

It won’t sync, even though everything is enabled as instructed. Utterly useless.

### 1/5 — sync steps inconsistent

*2025-08-21, version 3.1.0*

app suddenly stops tracking the steps from apple health. I have to then redownload the app to restart the syncing. I have missed many months of incentive because it stopped tracking my steps. very frustrating

### 1/5 — Flawed

*2025-08-18, version 3.1.0*

This app is terrible. It has gone complete entire months where it doesn't capture my steps in a daily basis despite me troubleshooting and following every step to rectify. When it works its great. Which is rarely. I am now missing out in financial incentives due to the app not working properly. Which is probably exactly how they designed it.

### 1/5 — Syncing steps

*2025-08-17, version 3.1.0*

In the past, if for some reason the app failed to sync my steps for the day, I could go back to that day on the calendar and simply sync steps and it would update. Whatever the company changed I am no longer able to do that. With it being summer I am spend more time outside hiking, walking and jogging an average of 4 to 5 miles a day. Several days did not sync. It looks like I am doing nothing and not hitting my 12 day goal. Very disappointed!!!! Please fix this and go back to how it has always been

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Deleted my data, cant login anymore

*2026-08-28*

The app deleted every daily step count I ever did, and I thought it was just a bug. Nope. I deleted the app and tried to login again, and got a “502: Bad Request” message with a bunch of other html so I cant even login anymore. Terrible

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2026-06-10*

Automatic Visit Detection doesn’t work and pending visits input manually are always pending. I’ve contacted the app about this several times, but nothing has been fixed.

### 1/5 — Not reliable

*2026-03-13*

Doesn’t check in while you’re at the gym. Needs to be upgraded.

### 1/5 — Horrible fitness app

*2026-02-26*

It claims to be able to sync with the Apple Health App but it will not sync steps no matter what I do. I’ve tried logging in and out. Removing and adding the health app again. Triple checking it that all permissions are turned and yet nothing is recorded.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2026-02-25*

Cannot log in, supports says they reset password but have not received any emails. Now I will lose out on benefits from logging in.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2026-02-08*

Constantly crashes and not able to access for days at a time. I only gave one star because zero was not an option.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-01-17*

App never works right. Needs to be updated every couple of days and never logs my gym visits like it’s meant to. So frustrating

### 1/5 — Gym tracking doesn’t work

*2026-01-09, version 3.2.4*

It never know when I’ve been to the gym even though the location is set to “always” allow. Then the report an issue button says there is a broken link and no where to report. So you don’t get credit for your workouts. So annoying.

### 1/5 — Gaslighting App

*2025-12-18, version 3.2.4*

The app does not track your gym visits. Even when it has accepted your visit it will then delete it. And honestly I think this is exactly how they want it to work so they don’t have to give you your money.

### 1/5 — Stopped tracking my steps. Tried to restart enabled sharing, still no luck. Killed the app as well.

*2025-11-20, version 3.2.3*

Stopped tracking

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-06-20*

Tool registers my gym sessions, been reliable for years

### 5/5 — Much better now

*2025-09-19, version 3.2.1*

Just update to new version and now it’s recognizing my gym visits automatically.

### 5/5 — Amending last review. App works as promised.

*2025-01-15*

I thought the app wouldn’t sync. That was my misunderstanding. It began syncing on my official activation day.

### 5/5 — App works fine

*2025-01-12*

I’ve not had any problems with the app!

### 5/5 — Love the new features

*2023-11-09*

Loving this app! The fresh design and user-friendly features make staying on top of my wellness game a breeze. Super stable and responsive.👍🏻

### 5/5 — Love this App

*2023-10-27*

Syncs beautifully with my Fitbit and I love the ActiveFit at home feature!

### 5/5 — Great tracking app!

*2020-05-01, version 2.1*

I use this app to log in my Smart walk steps to receive my health benefits incentive. The app is easy to use and keeps track of everything! It also keeps track of my Walgreens points! I don’t have to add anything, I linked it and it was good to go!

### 5/5 — Found money every month!

*2020-04-30, version 2.1*

Love this app! It helps me earn money for doing what I am doing anyway- either walking 10,000 steps or visiting the gym 12x a month. Now, you are even given credit for home workouts! It’s a no brainer!

### 5/5 — Backlogging

*2019-10-10, version 1.7.24*

You'll need to open the app everyday to log your steps let alone pick up your location or scanned in gym membership

### 5/5 — Get paid to go to the gym- What more do you need to get motivated!

*2019-05-08, version 1.7.20*

It’s great that it uses your fitbit or other apps to calculate smart walking. Some days you are too busy to get there, but on a beautiful day, go for a nice walk and it still counts as a visit!
