This should be instant or within a few seconds. Secondly, I connected my Apple Health in the beginning, but every time I open the app I have to tap on connect a device to see updated information. Along with that I joined a challenge and I have met the step goal for it every day since I joined but none of my steps are counting towards it. When I go to the activity for a challenge it just shows to connect a device. I can’t connect another device, I have already done that! Fix the app!! There is no benefit to using this as you can properly earn rewards or even use this to better yourself like it should be intended! ### 2/5 — Frustrated User *2024-11-10* This app crashed & takes forever to load & using the browser on the phone doesn’t help either. When doing a survey or trivia, it will freeze and force you to close the app, reopen, and continue on. Switching between challenges screens also get wacky and/or freeze as well. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Pathetic interface *2024-08-05* This is a real low effort app. Not sure how they got Aetna on board. This is a cheap web interface where buttons are slow and clunky. Tabs come out incomplete and out of size to a mobile screen. This looks like a desktop site trying to resize for phones. Seems like no effort was made to actually make an app. Keeps asking to connect to devices even though my watch is already linked. Aetna’s in house app was much much better than this. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Buggy, unreliable, and frustrating to use *2024-07-10, version 4.5.3* If this app wasn’t part of my employer’s health plan, I would never use it. It is buggy. It only syncs my Apple Fitness data sporadically, and constantly restarts itself, freezes, and is slow to load anything. This app is a detriment to my health. ### 2/5 — Would be better if they got rid of the bugs *2024-06-30, version 4.5.3* This app is riddled with bugs, maybe it should go see a doctor. For real though I have completed multiple challenges and received no rewards for doing so. This is super annoying hopefully this is fixed soon, or there is a fix. ### 1/5 — Trash *2024-06-23, version 4.5.3* This app is trash. Doesn’t track points as it should. Very buggy. Not worth your time. ### 2/5 — Poor quality app *2024-06-17* The app just does not integrate at all with any steps/exercise tracking. I have tried everything. The challenges are pointless because you can never get started. Sometime when you click on a tab, it splits the screen down the middle instead of navigating so you have to close the app and reopen. Sometimes you’ve gotta repeat that process a few times before it will stop. Most of the other services offered crash the app. I am really disappointed that this is what my employer is paying for. Thank you. ### 1/5 — App Does Not Sync w/ Apple Health or Fitbit *2024-06-01, version 4.5.3* This app is a headache. It does not sync w/ Apple Health or Fitbit at all. ### 2/5 — Everyday I’m fresh and new. *2024-05-17, version 4.5.2* Everyday when I login it’s like I’ve never used the app before. I have to go through all the original setups, set my pin and reconnect my device. ### 1/5 — App update May 2024 glitches! *2024-05-14, version 4.5.2* My Health Goals glitches terribly in the app after the May 2024 update. I don’t know if everything is glitchy - I can’t get the app to stay open ling enough. ### 2/5 — Not User Friendly *2024-05-11* Going through the app to complete the various tasks to receive the rewards is a major headache. You click on Rewards, and then go to the task you’re working on, say the Wellness Webinars for example. Once you click on the webinars, you can not just access the webinars, you have to click on another link that takes you to another Rewards page, and then you have to scroll through the options again to find what you want. The webinar recordings that are available do not always play right away, and it took me forever to actually get them started. Once I had finally gotten a webinar recording to play, it froze on me multiple times and even logged me out of the app, which forced me to go back in and start all over. Also, the scavenger hunts, and the Active Health one in particular, are not easy to complete. Once again, clicking on Rewards and then whichever scavenger hunt you choose, requires you to click on another link taking you to another Rewards page where you again have to scroll through all of the options to get to the scavenger hunt again and find the questions. For the Active Health scavenger hunt, that process had to be repeated with every question answered because you could not keep the questions up and search through the app for the answers. There was no easy way to get back to the questions. The missing gift card issue was finally resolved at least. Everytime I start the app it pretends I have never logged in and asks me to set a pin and allow faceID for sign in. The data only seems to sync randomly and can end up causing me to not complete the fitness challenges. I wish this app wasn’t garbage. ### 1/5 — Unreliable and poorly maintained *2025-09-18, version 4.9.0* After install will load once. If the app is restarted, it will not load. Reinstall required. Have to repeat activities and some do not persist. This means I don’t earn rewards and my employer will not contribute the cash payment. This app is costing me money ### 1/5 — Horribly designed and barely functional *2025-09-01* The app is bad and keeps getting worse with each update. Currently launch the app and nothing loads. It will then freeze up and I can’t do anything. It has always been slow to respond and barely functional, but latest update just made it worse. Every time you go in, you’re prompted as if you’ve never used it before. You’d think with all the complaints they could design a functional app. Support will respond to this review and tell me to reach out, but when you call, there’s nothing they can do. ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work *2025-07-23, version 4.8.0* Compared to say, myfitnesspal (which it doesn’t link with), very behind the times. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app and despite good internet connectivity, once I begin any step to upload documents, begin an assessment, or report progress, it kicks me back out to the home screen and often makes me log-in again. There are many redundant layers and steps to submitting health physical forms. It took more than 15 minutes of persistence to finally do it, so I will be curious to wait FOUR weeks to find out if it worked! ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work. Buttons don’t load, options and tasks don’t get marked as complete, and half the time you can’t log in.
