However, when recording your take with video, its doesn’t save the take. I have to restart my phone before every take. If this is patched or if you can provide a troubleshoot, this will definitely be a 10/10 ### 3/5 — Good app but not for submitting audition *2026-05-12* This is a great app. But the biggest problem is when you try to record a video. After filming it automatically compresses the video way to much. The video comes out blurry and the audio is all muffled. If that were fixed and a few more voices were added this would be a 5 star for me. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Just fyi, I've patched the compression since your initial comment, but evidently this hasn't had an affect on your end. I'll investigate further and see what is going on in this case. Hopefully you are still able to use this as a reader, and using an external camera (which I agree can be annoying) and that I can find the root cause of this asap. This is an extremely useful app if you’re an actor when you need a reader or you just need to rehearse your lines. There are lots of settings you can use to set it up just the way you want it. There’s a mobile version and also a web version and they both work great! This is my number one most useful app! **Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words! ### 5/5 — Changed my life *2026-07-21, version 1.29* Act On Cue was a fabulous discovery for me. I had looked at other line learning Apps but did not want to record all the other lines as I needed to get down a whole full length script in a short amount of time with limited rehearsals. Being able to upload the full script, choose voices for the other characters and run scenes while getting on with other things - laundry, cooking, driving - changed my life. I was more than ready opening night and I actually have this App to thank for that. It was worth what I paid for it but I would have preferred a subscription that allowed an unlimited rehearsal time. That said, it is good to be able to pause the subscription when I’m not working on a script knowing I can return to the App when I am. Paying for a certain amount of time can be useful but I really feel the more relaxed a person is when they are going through their lines the more positive the experience, so working against time is not the best idea in my mind. I am still very grateful for the App and highly recommend it. Thank you very much to the developer! ### 5/5 — Love this app *2026-07-21* So helpful for reading sides to me!! Super helpful! *2026-05-15* This asst app has been a life saver! There were a few bugs initially, but Gregory was always quick to respond and address the issues. I mainly used this on my phone, but a friend of mine uses it through her laptop and has never had an issue. Over the last few months, this app has proven to be extremely helpful, enabling me to be able to churn out 3-4 last minute auditions a day in some cases. Doubling as a teleprompter and reader, with a ton of reader options and vocal personalities, I cannot recommend it enough! **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! On a separate note, multi-line delete is now live in the script editor as of version 1.20. ### 5/5 — Great tool; accessible developer *2026-05-13* Finally, a tool that the working actor can use in so many ways; either online or with the app. The most impressive aspect of this app is its creator, Gregory. You have a problem with the app, drop Gregory an email and he will try to fix it usually within 24 hours. This access to the developer is amazing and not often found in these apps that charge you an arm and a leg to use. He is constantly upgrading the app. I believe that one star sells this app and the developer quite short. I highly recommend this app. **Developer response:** Thank you for your report. It’s crazy how you can set up as many characters as you want AND set up their accents too.
