Please improve the app and provide the scheduling feature in it. Wall pad does support that but this app does not have it. ### 1/5 — As bad as I gets. *2023-05-27, version 1.42.90* Terrible! Because their cloud system used to connect this app is pathetic. I would say, never buy another Actron Air system. This is the only way to teach this company a lesson. Please respond and fix please. ### 1/5 — Simple app with features that don’t work and connection issues *2022-12-28, version 1.42.90* This is a terrible app with basic features where some don’t even work. It also has regular connection issues where the app either doesn’t connect or instructions don’t make it to the aircon. There is also a weird interaction where the zone controllers loose sense of where they are and you need to turn the power off to the system to ‘reset’. This doesn’t happen if the app isn’t used. Considering how the good the Daikin WiFi control system is you should be embarrassed to sell this with your product. No communication from ActronAir when it frequently went down prior to this. No communication from ActronAir as to if it is ever going to be usable again. Terrible design., functionality even in its simplicity. I’ve persisted with this app for years. It’s rather criminal. I’ve spent hundreds if not thousands of $ because I could not turn off the air con whilst travelling or setting a timer etc. Anyways just read LSS PRo’s review as no further comment to be made. Suggest removing the app from the store unless you plan on updating, fixing and resolving the issues. I have been using this system for a few years now. The app regularly can’t talk to their server but you get no feedback in their app to let you know. You end up having to manually control the a/c when this happens - and it seems to happen a lot. It also has no API for integration with home automation. Pick another a/c vendor if you are looking to do a new install. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-06-01, version 1.42.90* Paid over $400 for AC to be wifi enabled and the app has worked about twice early on and never since. Never stays connected and requires AC to be reconfigured but still doesn’t connect. You spend tens of thousands, get access to a mediocre app that never gets any development attention and then a couple of years later they release a new system with new apps. Do not buy an actron. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2024-06-18, version 1.42.90* The App is outdated, suddenly doesn’t connect to the Air Con unit. Tried resetting the Actron modem inside the ceiling cavity and still no go. The App says connected successfully to the network but does not work. In the 8 years I’ve had the system, 99% of the issues have been caused by the app. Shame on Actron for accepting such a low standard. It makes the air conditioner not worth buying. Although system work ok with manual controller in the house but app is faulty since app cannot get an IP address from the aircon unit. You can get the IP address if you goto the main switch board and reset it.. Is this the only way Australian owned Actron engineering suppose to get an IP address? So far your servers in the past 2 months have been down 3 times for weeks. This needs to be sorted once & for all. What’s the point of having these features if it doesn’t work. Have been using for around 4yrs and has worked fine at home and offsite. On those hot days knowing I can keep the house cooler on arrival was worth the investment good work team. ### 4/5 — Rudimentary but solid performance *2021-07-22, version 1.42.90* I have had this app now for a few months. Used daily and never crashes. Functionality is limited but does it well. I can control my aircon including temp and zones from anywhere. What a difference decent internet makes. I tried the app and it immediately synced seamlessly as well as identifying that we have 4 zones. I’ve activated it while away from the house and I’m pleased to report that it works just fine. From what I can share it is clear that the key to the app is good internet signal. So now following on from my earlier review I am formally eating humble pie and am officially very impressed. ### 4/5 — Works once setup property - one year experience *2019-12-29, version 1.42.90* Generally, find the app to be very convenient when it works 90% of the time. Our experience over the years that we’ve been using Actron Connect has been positive. The setup was a bit fiddly , and a few times we had to change the channel on the router due to interference with other devices, but once it was all set up it works well. We've used it when returning home on a hot day to find the house nice and cool ### 3/5 — Outdated and slow *2022-05-19, version 1.42.90* This app was already outdated and slow even with nbn. But the last time where there was some sort of server issue meant it didn’t even work. I understand the server can go down, but the company and developers should address it ASAP instead of two days later. Being able to remotely control which room gets cooled/heated is an integral part of why we chose this ActronAir. Please update the app to run faster and smoother.
