## What is Actuall?

Actuall is a real-time social app built for India's Gen Z — not for scrolling, not for followers, not for the highlight reel. For actually being present.

CIRCLES — Join what's happening right now

A Circle is a live group space built around a shared activity. Someone near you started a late-night study sprint. Your college crowd is watching India vs Australia. A café hunt is happening in your city right now.

You see it. You join. You're in.

Every Circle has:
• A live voice room — open, ambient, no call notifications. Just hop in.
• Real-time group chat
• A shared media gallery for photos, videos, and memes
• A live member list so you see who's there

Circles are time-bound — 1 hour to 7 days, then they close. No dead groups. No ghost communities. Just live spaces where things are actually happening.

MOMENTS — Show life as it actually is

3–4 times a day, Actuall sends everyone the same prompt at the same time.

"Show your study setup right now."
"What does tired look like?"
"Record a 10-second rant."

You respond with a photo, a short video, or a text. No filters. No edits. One take.

Everyone gets the same prompt. Everyone responds at the same time. You see exactly how everyone else is living their day — and they see yours. Moments disappear after 24 hours. No permanent record. No pressure.

CONNECTIONS THAT ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING

You meet people inside Circles — because you were both there for the same thing. Then add them, DM them, or form a private group for your crew. Connections form through participation, not algorithms.

XP & LEADERBOARDS

Earn XP for showing up: joining Circles, posting Moments, speaking on voice, hosting groups. Ranked by activity — not follower count. The most present people rise.

BUILT SAFE BY DESIGN

• No global username search — discovery through Circles and prompts only
• In-Circle mute, report, and group-vote kick
• Ephemeral content reduces social pressure
• No vanity metrics as the core signal

Actuall is not an app to scroll through.

### 1.18 - Attendees Verification — 2026-08-13

Plan Highlights

Plans used to just end. Now, a little while in, you get a nudge to take
one photo. Anyone who came can add theirs too, and you pick the one worth
keeping.

See who actually came

Your attendee list now separates who said they'd come from who genuinely
turned up, with a count at the top. Only you see this.

Position your own profile banner

Picking a banner used to hand it straight over and let the app crop it.
Now you frame it yourself: drag, pinch to zoom, and what you line up is
what gets saved.

Fixes
- Closing your Moment card takes you to the feed instead of back to the
  caption screen
- Friend request notifications now open straight to Requests, with the
  request actually there
- A full plan no longer lets people slip in as "Maybe"
- Opening a plan that already happened shows the plan and its photo
  rather than jumping to the chat

Circle Invite Links — Community circle owners can now share a private 
invite link so friends can join instantly, no password needed.

Find Friends — Discover which of your contacts are already on Actuall 
and send them a friend request in one tap.

Moments — Refreshed capture screen and a cleaner feed card layout.

Plus: smarter chat scroll, media send confirmation, leaderboard polish, 
and general performance improvements.
