## What is AcuDesign?

Janome’s AcuDesign Embroidery App allows you to purchase, edit, import and export designs from your iOS mobile device. Includes 650 embroidery designs.
Import, export, print and edit your own collection of designs or purchased designs from your favorite Retailer or online, in all supported embroidery formats.
Scale your designs, change thread colors, fabric type and automatically adjust the density of embroidery designs. AcuDesign can save designs in multiple file formats to work with your machine.
Preview designs in Photorealistic preview and stitching simulation to ensure perfection every time. Share your designs with your friends on Facebook with one click.
Use your iOS device as a portable library, with automatic sync to iCloud and Dropbox!
Exports to Artistic Edge WiFi cutter

Embroidery Viewer

* Ability to change thread colors from a complete collection of thread color palettes (all major manufacturers)

The app will not connect to whatever “server” Janome uses, so it won’t show any designs (prebuilt in or not). I can’t find any tech solutions or information for it online to fix the issue. I have reached out to different dealers of Janome and no one can help.

I got this with my Janome MC15000 and initially it was great. It hasn’t been updated for a few years, you cannot delete the inbuilt designs, they offer for purchase, which take up a lot of space, isn’t updated for all of the machines and is now constantly crashing. Please sort this out Janome app developers.

App all of sudden keeps crashing when trying to export - doesn’t matter what design or how I export it just crashes I need this working asap

With the amount of money you have to pay for this app and the amount it costs to purchase the machine you would think they would at least supply a decent app. No, its not decent it constantly crashes because it cannot cope with the new software update launched by apple. Come on Janome sort this out! It needs an boost of regular updates and fast! I noticed they can update the shop in it tho with regular new designs to purchase but don’t invest any money in this app. I’m fed up with constant crashes and i cannot use this app to the best of its ability. It keeps crashing when trying to transfer the Jef file to AcuEdit. It crashes when loading on the Home Screen often. It also crashes when trying to edit or even clean up stitches! Not acceptable from a big brand company!

It used to be a great app, and even then it had crash issues but at least it was useable, now I cant use it as it just doesn’t work as it should especially for the main reasons the app is good for.

I have been watching YouTube videos to figure out how to use this app. When the ladies are telling you how wonderful the help tag is, I do just as they show and the app locks up. So now where does one go for help? 
I have spent more then $10,000.00 on Janome machines in the last month. I think the least Janome could do is update the app.

This app is useful but will not link to iCloud and would like to see it updated so the lightening storage can be added. For this price I expect more. Dropbox seems to be the only storage showing without putting some effort into setting up other storage which also involves a great deal research. Why do we have this in iPad only app yet the only storage is Dropbox and not iCloud?
