Please update the app, it doesn’t work now (on iOS 18.4.1) 

I really liked the application, because it worked well. The main feature is given for free, but I also bought bolt+. Thank you very much! I hope you update it soon

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues on iOS 18.4.1. The app should still work with this version (I'm actually using the same one myself). If you haven’t already, I recommend trying the following steps:
• For Bolt (Safari version): disable and re-enable it in Settings > Safari > Extensions.
• For Bolt+: there's an alternative mode available directly in the app settings that might help in some cases.

Bolt+ is really working perfectly anywhere! 

The only issue I’ve encountered is when I’m connecting to a wifi router with encrypted dns enabled, my iPhone cannot reach anything on the internet.

Is there a way to make it work?

It works with some effect over really nasty intruders, I’d say, after all, but, as for everything, same as the intruders are all about money, you can’t defend yourself against them without plus protections. Such intruders can also manipulate your life, so that you have money to live a life or protect yourself against them. Too much of a vicious circle, not a good life, but mr Luca Champoussin, you are a valuable and humane part of a very inhumane, impersonal and dystopian biotech finance specs takeover wars. I’d rather have the plus protections, as accounts we use most are joy-fair for such malicious attackers. Thanks for addressing my concern positively and not like a chatbot: the more millions a company makes, the more impossible they make contact and chatbot rules over. If that’s the future they aspire to make, I’m opting out gladly, but not without a fight. Thanks again.

Как ни странно, но отлично работает. Блокирует всю рекламу на страницах, в отличии  более именитых блокировщиков, которые перестали свою функцию выполнять в крайнее время.

(Note that ad blocking is a bit of a cat-and-mouse game, so occasionally some ads may slip through until the lists are updated.)

Unfortunately, blocking ads on YouTube is a constant game of cat-and-mouse. Google frequently changes how ads are delivered. As such the app cannot guarantee consistent YouTube ad blocking.

Bolt does its best to block as much as possible, especially in Safari. Bolt+ also works at the network level. I update the filters regularly, so I recommend opening the app to get the latest updates.

К сожалению, блокировка рекламы на YouTube — это постоянная игра в кошки-мышки. Google часто меняет способы показа рекламы, поэтому приложение не может гарантировать стабильную блокировку рекламы на YouTube.

Bolt делает всё возможное, чтобы блокировать как можно больше, особенно в Safari. Bolt+ также работает на сетевом уровне. Я регулярно обновляю фильтры, поэтому рекомендую открывать приложение, чтобы получать последние обновления.

After downloading the app you need to launch it to retrieve the latest blocking list (I've manually pushed an update a few minutes ago) and you need to enable it for safari.
Let’s make sure it is set up correctly: Settings application of your iPhone > Look for Safari > Extensions > Make sure the Bolt filters (1 through 4, for example) are enabled.

100% this doesn’t work with Safari as I am playing block blasters I am being blasted with Temu advertisements that redirect me to Safari when I opened up my Safari I had 40 open tabs from Temu in 40 minutes. It’s a plain block plaster. I have removed block blaster and I will remove this as this is the most disgusting app that has worked ever This app needs to be reported to the the federal government as it is 100% the biggest scam going

Приложение НЕ выполняет заявленных функций ! Рекламу в браузере safari НЕ блокирует. Все настройки были соблюдены -  результата ноль.

Не рекомендую данного автора и его продукты !

What a great app! Fast and simple to use.

The only thing, I’m using the bolt+ dns, which also work great, but since it is grabbing all dns traffic without any exceptions, my home network domain urls are never resolved. 

Can you please add some kind of exception list or split-dns? It would be awesome.

The premium version just uses publicly available dns servers, but in saying that, it does it in a way that works better than simple dns profiles. I don’t get the dns failures that I’d get using a profile - so over all useful.
