Overview: The "Ad It Up" app operates on an extremely predatory and non-user-friendly point expiration scheme that actively punishes legitimate, long-time users for brief periods of inactivity. On June 10th, 2026, my entire accumulated balance of 12,178 points was wiped out overnight without a single warning, notification, or grace period. The Core Issues: Zero Notification System: The app does not issue push notifications, emails, or in-app alerts as your account approaches the arbitrary 90-day inactivity threshold. Instead of engaging users to keep them active, the system quietly confiscates hard-earned rewards. Excessively Harsh Expiration Threshold: Taking a brief pause—such as a standard summer break—is enough for the app to erase hundreds of hours worth of ad viewing, survey completions, and offer interactions. Automated & Unhelpful Support: When contacting support to appeal this automatic wipeout, you will receive boilerplate, copy-paste responses. But sometimes you get a good game and you can make a decent amount of money off of your bill. By playing, fun games. When it works, it works seamlessly.
