## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Game đi xuống à

*2026-05-08, version 1.4.1*

Càng cập nhật càng lỗi nhiều với khó điều khiển, thà chơi bản cũ còn tốt hơn.

### 1/5 — еапыавые

*2026-02-23, version 1.3.4*

Сделаете чтобы не надо было перевешать с верхней части экрана в нижний при каждом завершении хода

### 1/5 — Really disgusting

*2025-11-29*

I don’t want to see Alice Weidel when playing

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. But no Alice Weidel in the app, can you explain more?

### 1/5 — Наземные атаки

*2024-10-27, version 1.1.3*

Наземные атаки глючат. Вылетает из игры при атаке транспортом. Отправлял запись в техподдержку, но не получил реакции

### 1/5 — Rips off Endless Sky for “new game mode”

*2024-10-07*

The new “Space Explorer” game mode is simply an uncredited port of the open source game Endless Sky (https://endless-sky.github.io). While it’s nontrivial to have ported it to iOS, he does not respect the license of the code (Endless Sky is GPLv3, which AIUI means the entire source of Orion Master must be released as GPLv3 if he includes ES in it; certainly, he needs to provide a clear link to the source of his port from the game itself) nor the assets (they are CC-BY-SA, and no attribution has been provided).

Furthermore, the port is not of a particularly high quality. The UI text within the “Space Explorer” mode is so small as to be nearly unreadable, there is no access to the Endless Sky preferences/settings, the interface buttons are poorly-designed and poorly-explained, and the flight controls are horrendously laggy.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for the feedback with so much detail information. Really appreciate your help.
1. Attributions link was provided on license page. Tap settings button on the home page, then tap licenses button to find the link back to the copyright page.
2. No recent plan to change the container app and other modes’ licenses to GPL 3+. That new mode is removed from the container app totally on version 1.1.3 to fulfill GPL 3+ license requirements of endless-sky. （1.1.3 released）
3. Agree with you. Small screen device may not be a properly platform to play this type game, too many information need to show and hardly to pick suitable font size. Another reason to remove this mode from the container app.

### 1/5 — Wonky ui and controls

*2024-09-29*

Ui and controls are no clear. Hard to get started. Ads get in the way.

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2025-06-20*

The design of the game mechanics of the first mode (technology, trade, etc.) are very intentional. Unfortunately, this game has very major flaws. First, you can only create 6 ship designs in the Orion mode. Since there’s 5 premade designs, you can only create one design before you’re forced to scrap one design (which also deletes all ships of that kind, very annoyingly when I wanted to create faster colonists). Also, the premade designs should automatically update to use the latest tech you have. In addition, there’s a bug where the AI can send troops to attack you even if you have a nonaggression pact with them. I’ve lose multiple valuable planets this way, and the worst part is you can’t even take it back without breaking the treaty. There should also be a setting to disable the council, the game isn’t fun when you can either auto win or auto lose after a hundred years. Moving on to the other mode, I bought the asteroid scanner and mining laser but can’t figure out how to mine asteroids (I also clicked the find nearest asteroid button that did nothing). I played it for a couple hours and it was honestly pretty boring, not much comment here. There’s also a watch ad for free money button that trivializes the early game.

### 3/5 — Good effort, needs more work

*2025-09-16*

This is a bundle of 3 games. One is a close clone of MoO but with a very poor UI. The other is an Elite-like that looks ok but is almost incomprehensible due to poor UX. There is help but the help UI is very unclear and inconsistent. Also the app is full of ads. I would buy the premium version to get rid of ads, if the game was usable. I wanted to like these games and a lot of work has gone into it. But it’s just not comprehensible. The MoO-clone basically assumes you know MoO. The Elite game, I gave up since there is no obvious way to pick a planet to land on (it took me an hour to figure out how to jump systems by random button mashing). And every mistake costs you thousands of credits in mortgage bills that are not even based on elapsed game turns (jumps) but are triggered every time you land on (the wrong) planet or jump to (the wrong) system. I would consider these two games to be between alpha and beta.

### 3/5 — Masters of Orion

*2024-11-25*

Hyper space communications does not work! You should be allowed to highlight technological advances that are a part of every game. Or maybe if you play the silence you get access to every technology I don’t know.

### 4/5 — Question

*2026-06-25*

First very fun game but I can’t figure out how to sell ships if I even can please help me

### 5/5 — Master or Orion

*2024-04-08*

Best old school game app ever

### 5/5 — Fun times

*2023-11-08*

Could use some love on the ship building to make easier. Great tribute to MOO!

### 4/5 — Masterful Recreation

*2025-02-14*

I’d been waiting for a clone of my fav game in high school. Thanks for bringing it back. Works great for 90% of the original. No ship combat is the only complaint.

### 4/5 — So close

*2023-08-21*

Generally this is a fairly good mobile version of Master of Orion. It plays basically the same so far as the map, resource management, the techs and tech game, diplomacy and ship design and how the races play.

Where it lacks is there is no tactical ship combat and battles appear to be decided in a simulation where you get the basics, how many ships participated and who won which is ok but fails for several reasons.

#1) you can’t see how your ship designs played against the AI so adjusting for a different outcome is almost a guessing game

#2) it almost seems as if the winner is the one who brings the most ships to the table regardless of tech or design and it appears as if the winning side doesn’t sustain any losses?

As ship combat decides much of the end result I had to delete this game as it left me frustrated. Mind you I just started back playing MOO prior to getting this so I have a good feel for how ship combat plays out

### 4/5 — норм для начала

*2023-08-16, version 1.0.3*

Эх, многовато глюков(, а так - отличное начинание! Например изучил колонизацию мертвых планет, а она все равно недоступна...(
