## What is Adamas Edge Version 2?

*** Version 2 provides the foundation for future enhancements and is being rolled out to sites selectively. Sites not currently on this list should continue to use version 1 of Adamas Edge***

Edge by Melinx is a state-of-the-art software tool for residential building operations.  It is an intuitive system for managing package delivery, amenity reservations, Permission to Enter (PTE), log books, pool access, and more.  The system also supports managing shared amenities with occupancy restrictions.

The companion App for the desktop Adamas Edge by Melinx system.  This version of the Edge by Melinx app provides mobile access (iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad) to the customized Adamas version of the Edge system (required) and does not work without it.

### 2.091 — 2025-09-19

New enhancements that will affect only a small number of users:
- added ability to scan PTE QRCodes
- fixed display of photos under Events
- plist forces Light mode
- when adding a PTE, clicking anywhere outside of the date picker will dismiss the date picker window
- after the initial data load for a site with an extensive resident photo library, the user's photo on the main menu page will appear the next time the page is reloaded
- fixed code error when processing outgoing packages

### 2.09 — 2025-09-12

Minor enhancements and 2 bug fixes:
- fixes problem with blank notes as a part of a PTE
- fixes system crash when package tag is uploaded
- made data more current by refreshing all data when selecting PTE from the main menu

### 2.08 — 2025-09-09

Added delayed retrieval of inactive PTE photos to reduce initial setup time of the App.   Included 'add PTE' function.

### 2.07 — 2025-08-27

A minor but high-impact change that affects the operability of the People function.

### 2.06 — 2025-08-21

More functionality moved from the desktop to this App, including the ability for managers and team leaders to manage staff registrations.  This includes the ability to add and edit profiles, reset passwords, and terminate staff users.
