## What is Adapt?

Burnout isn't one thing. It's four, and most people spend months treating the wrong one.

Adapt asks you eight questions and gives you four readings instead of one number.

WHY THE USUAL ADVICE KEEPS MISSING

Researchers split burnout into four parts: exhaustion, mental distance from work you used to care about, focus and memory, and how hard ordinary things land.

Sleep only fixes one of them. A holiday fixes none.

That's why you can do everything right, take the time off, buy the planner, and feel no different. Treat the wrong part and nothing moves.

THE EIGHT QUESTIONS

Two questions per part, drawn from the Burnout Assessment Tool, a real research instrument. Takes about a minute.

You get four readings and you can see which one is loaded. Most people are surprised by which.

This is not a diagnosis and doesn't claim to be.

COACH TAYLOR, IN YOUR MESSAGES

Taylor is the coach. She lives in your Messages, not in another app you forget to open.

She asks in the evening how the day went. You answer like a person. No forms, no streaks, no guilt.

Once a week she suggests one small thing aimed at whichever part is loaded, and it's always something to take out of your week rather than add.

Nobody checks whether you did it.

WHAT ADAPT READS ON ITS OWN

With your permission, Adapt reads Apple Health and your calendar so Taylor knows what your week actually looked like before she asks about it.

Recovery, sleep, physiological stress and activity, all measured against your own patterns rather than someone else's average.

When something moves, she says so.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE COPING

Adapt is for people who are successful, responsible and quietly running on empty.

The ones everybody calls when something breaks. The ones nobody calls to check on.

You don't need another system. You've tried the systems.

WATCH THE READINGS MOVE

Answer the eight questions again after a few weeks and you can see which parts changed.

It won't fix your job. It will tell you what the job is costing you.

FREE TO START

The health board and your four readings are free. Coach Taylor in Messages comes with a free trial, then continues as the paid coaching experience.

You can turn off Health access, calendar access or coaching at any time.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Adapt is not a medical device, not therapy, and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Adapt's scores are informational and based on your own patterns.

Free to download. Start with the eight questions.

### 3/5 — Potential but limited

*2026-07-20*

I like the idea of this but my main issue is it syncs to all my calendars and not the one I want it to use. There is no way to change this in the settings.
I have work calendars, reminder ones for both business and personal and one for appointments. All together my life looks like a chaotic mess, and not all of the reminders are for me directly. It would help if I can pick what the app uses, like in other apps I use.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We’ve now added the ability to choose which calendars Adapt uses, so you can include only the ones that are relevant to you. We appreciate you pointing this out and helping us improve the experience.

### 5/5 — Game changer for consistency

*2026-06-15*

Love this app! it’s been so helpful having the AI coach actually hold me accountable for my goals. i also really appreciate how it can adjust my tasks for busier days so i don’t just feel like giving up entirely… it’s really helped me build consistency while staying realistic

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! We’re really happy to hear Adapt is helping you stay accountable, adjust on busy days, and keep building consistency without feeling like you have to give up. That’s exactly what we’re building toward, and we’re excited to keep making the coach smarter, more practical, and more helpful over time.

### 5/5 — highly recommend!

i've been using adapt to train for a half marathon as a beginner runner. so far, it's only been a few weeks, but it's been really helpful in helping me adjust to balancing work and school while training. i love that you can also add a ton of other goals, like journaling and meal prepping. will definitely continue using to manage stress and goals without becoming overwhelmed.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. It means a lot to hear that Adapt has been helpful for half marathon training, school, work, journaling, and meal prep without making everything feel overwhelming.

Since you wrote this, we’ve made several updates to make Adapt smoother, more reliable, and better at adjusting as real life changes. Really appreciate you using it.

### 5/5 — Finally, a app for real life.

*2026-03-07*

Adapt lets me scale down to a small version to keep my momentum going. It’s the first app that replaces all or nothing with actual consistency.

**Developer response:** Thank you. That is exactly what we’re trying to build.

Since this early version, we’ve kept improving Adapt so the smaller version of the plan feels easier to use and more practical. Really appreciate the support.

### 4/5 — Idea that actually helps

*2026-03-06*

I like how the app adjusts when the day gets busy so I can still make progress instead of feeling like I failed.
Long way to go with the product.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the honest feedback. We’re glad the core idea came through, especially helping you keep making progress when the day gets busy.

This was still an early version of Adapt, and since then we’ve made several improvements to the planning experience, reliability, and overall product. We appreciate you trying it and helping us make it better.

### 4/5 — highly recommend!

i’ve been using adapt to train for a half marathon as a beginner runner. so far, it’s only been a few weeks, but it’s been really helpful in helping me adjust to balancing work and school while training. i love that you can also add a ton of other goals, like journaling and meal prepping, which makes it much easier to balance a busy schedule. highly recommend for anyone who needs help training or juggling activities!

### 5/5 — Tries to actually adjust to my current state

*2026-03-05*

I’ve tried a lot of habit apps and most of them feel rigid. What I like is that it actually adjusts or at least tries. The recommendation is not always what I want, but the AI coach and daily planning make it easier to stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. So far it’s only been a few days, but surprisingly helpful if you’re trying to stick with goals long term.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful review.

Since this early version, we’ve made several updates to improve the recommendations, planning flow, and overall experience. We really appreciate you giving Adapt a try.
