When sending payments from one UK account to the other, you would imagine it would be instant like every other bank. No - they randomly decide to hold the funds and tell you it will be ‘reviewed’ No prior warning. Would not recommend as a primary account as far too unreliable.

Once again they have pushed out an upgrade which crashes the app and makes it unusable. It happened already three months ago and i had to spend weeks talking to customer services. They haven’t a desktop app - which us crazy - and they have poor developers that do not properly test their software - I’ll be closing my account - avoid at all costs

Since the last update the app no longer works. After one week the help desk has no idea yet why… only thing I can do is spend the money using Apple pay trying to guess how much is left - no way to get access. This is completely crazy for a digital banking app. 
The plain Nomo app would work, but I had the bad idea of going for the branded ADCB-Nomo version… and if you opened your account there you cannot access it with the unbranded Nomo app.

After the update to 2.24.0 the app crashes on launch. After three days technical support has no solution yet.
This would be bad enough, but they make it worse by not providing access via desktop/browser, so effectively a glitch in the iPhone app shuts you out completely.

It’s my second experience with Islamic and sharia compliant bank in UK. This internet based bank is easy to access and modern. But it lack more complex need like loan and house finance.

The app was super easy to install, took a few minutes. It’s very intuitive to use and the interest rates are excellent especially the daily saver which doesn’t require freezing funds. I’ve used it for several international transfers and they went very smoothly
