## What is AdCurtain Pro?

Take control of what Safari shows with AdCurtain Pro, a content blocker for iPhone and iPad.

AdCurtain Pro gives you two simple ways to shape your browsing experience: built-in Drapes that handle common third-party advertising and page elements, and your own Curtains for hiding specific elements on websites you choose.

Choose a website and specify a CSS selector for the element you want to hide. AdCurtain Pro validates and normalizes your rule before providing it to Safari as a site-specific cosmetic rule.

AdCurtain Pro is designed around Safari's content-blocking system. Safari compiles and applies the rules, while AdCurtain Pro provides the interface for managing them and its bundled Safari content blocker extension provides the rule list.

The app does not inspect web pages or collect information about what Safari displays. It does not receive page URLs, page contents, matched-rule events, blocked-request counts, or browsing activity from Safari.

AdCurtain Pro also does not make network requests of its own. Its role is to manage the rules you choose and provide them to Safari's content-blocking system.
