Regards, Pixowl Customer Support ### 4/5 — Love this game ❤️ *2023-06-22* I love this game and am now on level 18 I didn’t find it difficult for Wednesday room but the train room still saving up the gems to have it would be nice if it wasn’t on of the desire but you do get it on pot luck on the lemonade stand however there is some actions I would like to do like mortician needs the shoe rack for the dress and I can not find it to buy it 🤷🏻‍♀️ same is happening with the gazebo it would be something I would like to purchase for mortician to do the action not available on the store tried online to see if I was doing something wrong 😑 and no where is the answer either than that is a good game and I am hooked at the moment but the fact that I need the dress to upgrade my inventory and I can’t action it it’s a bit off putting **Developer response:** Hi! Yes, you can get most (not all) things by watching videos, but you'll be watching videos all day. There is a video limit. And progress is slooowwww...for example, you're given a task that requires the purchase of 3 items over $20k ( a piece) in coins, but nothing the characters want is over 4k. And to earn the big ticket items your character is busy for 6-8 hours. Then when you complete the task you earn 11k in coins?? It doesn't make sense. It is also slow to level up and events bring that to a halt even when you have completed the event. Why am I still earning event coins when they are now useless to me in the game? Lots of repeat gifts in the chests, just not really player friendly. Regards, the Pixowl Team. ### 2/5 — The Sandbox Evolution *2022-12-10, version 0.6.5* I didn’t come here to make a review for the Addams family mystery mansion, I came here to talk about the sandbox evolution because it has a lot of bugs, the developers don’t read reviews, and haven’t been updating the game for 3 years. The first bug is that when I “watch a video” to get an element it says “Sorry, no video is currently available please try again later. Thanks” My internet connection is fine but why??? and the final Bug(if you play the game for a few months it will happen) is that I can’t play online levels and finish a quest because every time I want to, It says “Oh no, we lost connection check your internet access.” for the quests “Sorry, no internet connection!” My internet connection is fine and that means I won’t earn Mana until it is fixed. I really will appreciate it if you fix those 2 bugs because I want to play online levels and finish quests. If you’re the developer please read it or respond so that I’ll know if you’ll fix these bugs soon. Also in Assimilation I’d made it to level 7. And then with no warning it re-shadowed everything above level 1 when it still shows all the stuff I already built in the now closed off spaces. It even lets me send the red van back and forth but won’t give me the stuff in the van 🙄 I tried to update but it didn’t open the areas back up and I have to try to reopen it 100 stars a day. This game is pointless. Creators- DO BETTER. ### 2/5 — The concept is cute but the game itself is flawed *2022-02-19, version 0.4.8* I was really excited to play this game. However it is not like other platform games. If you want to complete one task you have to unlock certain parts of the game but in order to unlock those parts you have to complete a task but in order to complete that task you have to spend coins or gems…by the time you get through with unlocking everything in one room you have forgotten the original task you started with. Then there’s the added match game. Like why is there a random match game? Which is ridiculous in it of itself because if you need to wait to reload your lives (which you only get 5) it takes 24 hours to load 1 life. I couldn’t get past level 14 so I naturally could not advance in that part of the game. Earning coins is impossible as the challenges earn you very little but to unlock a room you have to spend coins or to add an item to a current room as a task you have ti spend coins and the price of either is 3x what you probably have. The game is cute, but to play it is frustrating and kinda annoying. It seems like they could have executed it a bit better. It’s not very player friendly. I mean the point in an app game is to keep you playing for hours but instead this game offers you maybe 5 minutes of literally just crafting items only to find out your storage is full. Eh. There’s been a number of times I got things from a kooky box, and when I go to use them they aren’t there. It’s a little frustrating when you get really into the game. ### 1/5 — SUPER BUGGY *2022-01-15* DO NOT get this game. I installed the game, linked my accounts to it, turned confirmations on, and I grinded THE ENTIRE DAY and got thousands of coins and rubies. Suddenly at night I realised all my coins and rubies kept disappearing all throughout the day and started from 500 coins and 30 rubies everytime i logged in, like they give you when you start Level 1. And everytime i crafted an item it notified me that I got a new item when I have tens of that. I tried contacting them but they had THE WORST customer service. SHOULD IT????? ### 1/5 — The Game is Broken and No Fix in Sight *2021-10-15* On October 4, 2021 the Halloween Event was introduced along with a Camper side event in honour of the new movie. On October 6, I finished the tasks associated with the camper and that’s when my Promotions Tab got nuked by the game (the contents were replaced by the addition of the Camper prize). Since then absolutely nothing has been returned to me. Today is Ocober 15 and I have not been able to play my game since the Promotions Tab got ruined because it contained the Grand Canyon Chair which is required to finish the event. I have repeatedly contacted support. They are promising nothing. VERY GOOD!! ⭐️but it takes so soooooo long to get diamonds and makes me pay more money if I can’t get something they want. For example…. Gomez said I wonder where Wednesday is and then it takes me to the lock room where she is. The app just shuts down randomly, and once I hit level 4, no amount of finished quests, fulfilled desires, or items bought earned even 1xp. Normally I hate pay to play games and refuse to spend a dime but I broke my rule to support this game and the developers, however, the game is impossible to progress in unless you’re consistently buying gems. I cannot complete tasks because everything requires items from the kitchen which does not unlock until level 7 at level 5 I should not be required to use items from the kitchen to complete any tasks. It’s ridiculous and unfair that I have to buy gems to buy items that shouldn’t even be spawning in until the required room is unlocked. Everything requires kitchen items. Completing desire quests? Kitchen items. Unlocking another room? Kitchen items. How are we supposed to get anywhere in the game like this? It makes no sense. ### 1/5 — time wasting *2022-10-05* if your marketing this game towards kids then you’ve failed. What kids can afford to play? 100 gems for everyone’s fav Wednesday and i’m not giving my kids real $$$ to buy a computer character when the entire world is in chaos due to Covid & extreme weather conditions. You need to rethink how this benefits you as the business and the kids that play. i’ll happily hand $5 to my children for their allowance and happy for them to spend it on whatever they choose but $5 don’t do a lot in this game! After at most one hour of play (taking out brief waiting periods), there is literally nothing to do without spending real money to open Wednesday’s room, which you need 100 gems for. But you start off with *way* less than that and no way to earn more. Even the commercials don’t work half the time - the game freezes before the ad finishes and the only thing to do is restart the game without the reward you wanted. To complete the few tasks available not involving Wednesday’s room, involves waiting several hours just to get 2-3 items to craft some other item. I’ve never come across a brick wall so quickly in a game. Literally an hour of play. Plus it’s not super intuitive to figure out. The help section is worthless. For example, you earn these cards from boxes but no where can I find where the cards go. Super frustrating and badly designed. When virtually every recent review is saying the same thing and the development team keeps saying “la la can’t hear you” in response, there’s a problem. **Developer response:** Hi Moria! We have added several ways to earn Rubies, not only Ads, but also completing tasks, visiting friends, opening Kooky Boxes, even by just leveling up. Connecting your Mansion to Facebook will also grant you a large boost to your Rubies early in the Mansion, we understand tho, that many players find difficult to commit and save up these free Rubies early in game, eager to speed up the gameplay. Once we have this information, we will escalate your concern to the tech team for further investigation. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work towards this matter. The cards you find, are for unlocking the outfits for your characters, once you collect 10 of each, you will unlock it, and if you already unlocked the character that owns it, you will be able to dress them to perform more and unique animations for rewards that will help you develop your Mansion further. All they do is wander around the house and then you have to wait for an ! to pop up over their head and if you don’t have the menu open on the left and they’re up in some part of the house that you can’t see then you don’t even know that that’s happening. I downloaded this once when it first came out and deleted it and I saw the ad for it yesterday and thought “why did I delete that?” so I downloaded it again and within maybe five minutes I realized why I must’ve deleted it the first time. And then to top off all of the boredom and slowness they expect you to give up 100 of your red gems to open Wendy’s room when it only costs the Addams coins to open up Pugsley’s room. If they think I’m going to collect 100 red gems and then spend them just to open Wednesday’s room they can forget it. So I’m deleting this game boring, boring, boring. 😴💤🥱 ### 1/5 — DO NOT BOTHER! *2022-06-08, version 0.5.3* I am an old man that grew up watching the Addams Family on TV. And though this is a quaint reminder of that wonderful show, this game STINKS! I gave it a month, spent almost $50 on it just out of a sense of obligation, just to give it a chance but this is a money pit of UGLY proportions. No sooner do you spend money to get a small chance of handling inventory, and I mean seriously, within a day, there are new items “necessary” to further the game that makes you need MORE space. And the “special” events harbor into that same stupid (oh how I wish I could show expletives because this game had me f’in* frustrated beyond any other) inventory list instead of using a separate special event list, like all the semi good games do. It is NOT worth it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD, ITS BULLHOCKEY! And you developers? If you were in my vicinity? Oh, you would not make it home tonight, nor ever. Events are optional, you are not forced to play them nor collect items from them if you do not desire them. Also, purchases are optional and up to you to decide whether you want to acquire the promotions or play without them, as they are not needed to advance in the game. I had trouble purchasing the pack 10 days ago, and I have gone back and forth with the developers to try to get the pack I purchased actually added to my game. They keep claiming they’ve added it, but it never takes. Instead of trying something different (like adding each part of the pack individually) they just keep telling me they’ve added the pack with no investigation into why it’s not working and no end in sight. I feel like I’m going to go on and on into eternity telling them that what they keep doing isn’t working, and them doing the *exact same thing* over and over and over and over…. ### 1/5 — Looked fun but.. *2022-04-16, version 0.5.1* Cannot unlock rooms without gems. Gems cannot be obtained without watching advertisements. Advertisement vidios are not available very often. Confirmation, even when enabled, does not always prompt and prevent accidental spending of said scarce gems. Inventory space runs out and progress and all game play play comes to a halt leaving no alternatives to play without spending real cash. I spent a couple of days playing this game until I ran into all these issues and any enjoyment became frustration and anger. Wish sometimes it wasn’t as creepy, it doesn’t jive with the very original Adam’s Family series but it fits perfectly with the animated series. The little actions and all the seasonal games are so adorable and I always wonder who came up with that! If you’re strategic enough, you don’t have to spend on the game but I like to because it’s my favorite game and I want the max out of it. I do wish there were ways to get things without spending but I’m good at balancing spending on things I really want and ignoring the rest. But now I want to know WHY the game is ending!
