### 2/5 — Looks like a good app but...

*2018-08-26, version 1.2.1*

Can't log in - tried through Facebook & Google FRUSTRATING

### 3/5 — Can't log in

*2017-09-21, version 1.2.1*

Can't log in please fix this
I updated to iOS 11 and it won't log in😟

### 2/5 — Has potential.

*2017-09-21, version 1.2.1*

It certainly has potential but without developer attention it is going to go the way if the dinosaurs. People are able to discuss things and form relationships. Problem is that the app is very buggy, and is getting buggier as time goes on. Notifications rarely ever work. This is a problem because when people reply or ask questions it is hard to find the posts without the notifications to indicate where the reply is. People end up getting missed and they think they were ignored. This has been happening for quite a while. I was only able to connect for a brief moment once over the past two days. I noticed others having the same issue. Other times It takes multiple attempts to connect. Posts don't always appear even after the shade indicated the post was successful. Other times entire sections of posts repeat themselves three, four, five times or even more. Like I said, it has potential, but absent some serious TLC and development expertise it is currently one step above useless. I hope they improve it.

### 3/5 — Has a lot of potential, but..

*2017-05-25, version 1.2.1*

..is very slow and glitchy. Actually makes me frustrated sometimes, when I turn to it for support and calming influence instead :c

### 2/5 — Super buggy

*2017-04-29, version 1.2.1*

Wasn't able to get past the account creation stage because it kept failing to upload info (checked my connection via speedtest and it's great). Also, the UX is a little wonky.. setting your Location is cryptic because the title of page is a hidden field to search for your location — didn't know until I started trying tapping on stuff to try and find out how it works ... and it's odd that the microphone recording is triggered BEFORE I've given permission to the app to access my microphone (that should happen until after, cuz... what if I say no, or I get interrupted before I authorize and now the recording has been going for three days). You need to hire a good product designer.

### 2/5 — So much potential

*2017-04-26, version 1.2.1*

Listen this is a great, great app but dear god is it buggy as hell.

Hopefully they are able to keep improving it because if it gets tuned up it's a great tool.

### 3/5 — Meeting filter / list full of glitches

*2017-04-23, version 1.2.1*

The meeting portion of the app is full of bugs where filtering has no effect and listing the meetings shows them in a totally off order each time , very frustrating. Or sorting by soonest displays different days nearly each time. Not reliable for something so important . Also, many of the meetings are not current. So you may show up to an empty space. Great app idea, however these glitches haven't been fixed since the conception of the app.

### 4/5 — Cleaner & Safer than FaceBook Recovery Programs!

*2017-01-27, version 1.2*

This app unfortunately has some tech bugs.... but I have not seen any bullying or swearing.

### 3/5 — Okay

*2016-11-08, version 1.1.4*

Not bad but the map will NOT load on my phone... really really aggravating!

### 5/5 — Perfect recovery resource for those of us struggling with alcoholism, addiction & substance misuse

*2016-10-13, version 1.1.4*

Me and my girlfriend made a pact to get sober this year. We've been successful for the most part, but have slipped a few times because sobriety has been a lot harder than either of us expected. Neither of us like the traditional AA 12-step method (somewhat bc of the religious ideology behind it, but mostly bc we couldn't find a meeting with a group of peers we felt we clicked with, so that left us with only each other for support--and it wasn't enough).
Lucky for us we found this app Addicaid. It connected us with a large enough community where we found people that were in the same boat (or wagon😉) as us. It's made recovery soo much easier and more manageable. I can't say enough positive things about this app. It's been a genuine blessing for us and i know that blessing extends to anybody who's also struggling with alcoholism, substance abuse and addiction. I usually don't pay for apps (this is a free app), but I would gladly pay for Addicaid if we had to, so I'm really grateful that the developers are providing this essential resource at no cost.
I could go on and on praising this app--there's so many outstanding features--but I'll leave those unmentioned gems for you to discover and enjoy firsthand. So by all means, download now. And I look forward to speaking with you in the virtual rooms. Thanks for reading!

### 5/5 — This app really works.

*2016-10-13, version 1.1.4*

Someone close to me was struggling with addiction for quite some time and we couldn't get him to go to any meetings or to see anybody. He was too self-conscious. A friend told me about this app and I told him about it and he took to it immediately. He's been sober for almost a year. He said he feels like he has a sponsor in his pocket round the clock. Highly recommended.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No Updates

*2018-12-03, version 1.2.1*

Developer stopped caring about app. It had great potential but I guess the developer got bored and moved on.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2018-10-14, version 1.2.1*

Can’t even log in. Doesn’t matter which one you choose.

### 1/5 — Can’t sign in!

*2018-10-12, version 1.2.1*

Tried signing in with Facebook and that doesn’t work either.

### 1/5 — Can't get past sign in

*2018-10-03, version 1.2.1*

I've tried new emails, new usernames, change password, log in with google and Facebook and I'm getting nothing all it does is a loading screen and I'm fairly frustrated with it cuz I was looking for meetings and now I can't do that which would have helped me......take this garbage off the app store so someone else can actually help people..

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2018-09-20, version 1.2.1*

Can’t sign up manually, can’t sign in with Facebook or with gmail

### 1/5 — Hello? Hello?

*2018-02-04, version 1.2.1*

Is this app still active? Tried to sign in, apparently forgot password. Chose the option to sign on through Facebook, Facebook stated option not available. Sent 5 requests for an email to reset, no response. Needless to say, this is very frustrating.....an emotion not needed to be added to addicts. Thanks!

### 1/5 — Bug ee

*2017-04-29, version 1.2.1*

Can't even set up a profile. Keeps saying error object. Looks like the coding of this app needs a lot of work.

### 1/5 — Very buggy

*2017-04-29, version 1.2.1*

I tried to set up my profile but couldn't save anything. The second day I opened the app someone else's messages were in my inbox. Not cool.

### 1/5 — Poor search engine

*2016-11-17, version 1.1.4*

I just want to sort by area, then day, then time to find new meetings. Why is this so hard to include into an app.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2016-07-15, version 1.1.3*

Very laggy. I recommend to avoid this.

### 5/5 — Love Addicaid, makes recovery rock!

*2017-03-27, version 1.2.1*

Here is an absolute essential resource for people trying to break free from addiction and alcoholism.

Really awesome, this app is like magic! I made a very good decision when downloading Addicaid, and I will definitely be recommending this to all of my friends in sobriety. I use it every day to help me stay on track and keep me motivated.

So if you're serious about getting sober or staying drug free, and if you're willing to do the work it takes, this app will certainly help you break your bad habits or addiction and reach your goals. Addicaid has made my recovery easier to manage and helps me achieve my ambition of living a #soberlife free of substance abuse, gaining a better awareness of my addiction, being mindful and hopefully becoming a better husband, father, brother, friend and person because of it. I'm seeing great changes in myself! thanks guys!

### 5/5 — Nice add on for my recovery

*2017-02-12, version 1.2*

### 5/5 — Such a powerful Recovery App - unsurpassed

*2017-02-08, version 1.2*

What a great way to recover from addiction and depression/anxiety with such a strong set of resources - all for free. Really commend the people involved in this venture to get people(in any form or fashion) back on their feet by helping everyone of them with their wide variety of difficulties in their addiction recovery paths. Love the fervor with which they act for other people's good. Applaud their intent very much! Thanks Addicaid for being part of my life!

### 5/5 — The answer to my problems

*2016-12-07, version 1.1.5*

Love this update it's so intuitive and have met so many great people and have really learned a lot about how to treat myself and others better.

### 5/5 — Addicaid is a blessing.

*2016-11-28, version 1.1.4*

This app provides indispensable addiction recovery support. I've been recommending Addicaid to any of my family/friends who need extra support and guidance in their recovery from drugs or alcohol. Addiction has grown to become a national epidemic, so naturally I was excited to discover this perfect little app that provides daily reinforcement and encouragement (vital for staying on track, especially in early recovery). The vibrant community here is sensitive, stigma-free, and highly engaged. You also get therapeutic goals that are scientifically based and indeed helpful for good mental health and affirming sobriety. If you're struggling with substance abuse or if you have years of sobriety and want to give back to help others in recovery, you have come to the right place. The holidays can be especially hard for many of us, and Addicaid is a blessing we can all be grateful for.

### 5/5 — I'm at peace now

*2016-10-21, version 1.1.4*

Since I've been recovering from my addiction, I've found Addicaid to be indispensable to my recovery.
