Touch any line of the paper tape to go into edit mode. Touch the side controls: Add Line, Delete Line. You can also edit numbers, split Add/Sub or Mul/Div groups. Press Done to return to Calculator mode. Q4. How can I quickly clear the paper tape? A4. The quickest way is to double-tap the calculator's LCD display. From the Export dialog, select from: Email, Print, Copy or Open-In. Email includes a pdf attachment. Print requires an AirPrint capable printer. While it is possible to set the decimal to two places for financial calculations, and it does show up on the tape as such, the entry screen does NOT display the decimal. This is too disconcerting and should be fixed. A physical adding machine does this. The app should too. On another note, I noticed a one star review from somebody who clearly doesn’t understand that ADDING MACHINES are not the same thing and do not operate the same as calculators. This app does exactly what an ADDING MACINE does, NOT what calculators do. If you do not know the difference, this app is not what you want. Most people specifically looking for ADDING MACHINES already know they’re not the same. If you’re not sure, either look up the difference or just get a simple calculator. ### 1/5 — No external number pad *2021-03-22, version 6.20kbPad* Does not work with external keyboard number pad. Just a double click to start over, the iPhone comes up with a pop up box to clear it, an extra step I don’t think is necessary. Notice that the fixes have more to do with how ads are made to be un-intrusive then the operation of the app itself. Telling. Very thoughtful design to not be some wild interpretation of what a calculator is supposed to do. And because it’s so uneventful, steady, and reliable, unfortunately it doesn’t provoke folks to consciously go and give it the 5 star review it deserves for being a free app. If you are looking for a simple straightforward 10 key, this is definitely the one to get. Don’t even bother looking any further. Seriously. And you will probably be one among the thousands that use it without issue that forget to leave these folks a stellar review and a thank you for making a perfect app. Like me using it for years and not giving them props for making the perfect free iPad 10 key until now, lol!
