I’ve lost all my back catalogue of magazines and now the oldest copy i can get is spring 2016. not sure i will renew my subscription (unless it’s on auto renewal where i’ll forget to cancel it as i have ADD 😄) ### 2/5 — Love the digital access but app keeps crashing *2017-10-20* I'm not a huge print person when it comes to magazines so I like that I can get the digital version. But the app keeps closing every minute or so when I try to open the magazines to read them....also it's sort of crazy that you get a digital subscription with the print subscription but no additional resources or services to make the 20$ app purchase worth it if you choose to go only digital. -sincerely, yours Wanting this app to work correctly ### 1/5 — I don't understand? *2015-10-23, version 28* I downloaded this "App", but it doesn't do anything. I can't open it and I can't delete it. It's just "there". ### 1/5 — Don't pay $20 for this! *2015-07-16* Although I am interested in purchasing a print subscription which comes with free access to this app (for the same price), I cannot through their website. It glitches. I bought the app for $20 and it does not come with the printed magazines. Only a virtual newsstand subscription. I gave up on the whole ordering a print subscription (which I would like to stress costs the same amount of money and you get both- print AND digital). So anyways, I get the digital version, but you can only access the most current magazine even though all of their back issues show up in the app. They only have four publications a year, so when O am done reading my one digital magazine I will have no use for the app until the next issue comes out next season. What a waste of $20 for sure. If you decide you want a refund you have to go through Apple which is a near impossible feat to get your money back. I would suggest just using the free website that the magazine offers instead of wasting your money. Contacted the support people that facilitate the service and they have given a couple of suggestions, but I'm still not able to utilize the subscription. Have requested a refund from Apple. ### 1/5 — More frustrating than ADD *2021-10-05* This is singularly the most frustrating app I have ever tried to work with. Notice I say tried to. Even the tutorial is awful. New Hope Media, what were you thinking??? 😥 ### 1/5 — Good content. POOR app. *2021-06-10* Wow! A news app designed to be used by people considered “Neuroatypical”. Nice idea. Unfortunately, the app has the design and UI flow of an archaic HTML site from the 1990s. Needs a top to bottom reworking (imho). I will request a refund through Apple and cancel my subscription through the website as well. I hate the forced auto-renew for the print magazine anyway & this was just the icing on the cake. ### 1/5 — Ease of access... *2019-01-30* Accessing anything with ADHD is that much more difficult. This makes me want to throw my phone. The magazine is fantastic and for anyone who has a person with ADHD in their life, they should be reading this magazine as well worth the education. Realizing that it was in digital form, I tried this app and it deserves nothing under a four star rating. I’m using an iPad and I have no problems as a matter of fact articles can be read to me through the app. I can look through the magazine in a variety of different formats that fit my preference. From someone who has used many comic book apps, this is beyond all of them in ability for setting preferences. I seriously don’t know how this got under a four star rating from anybody. ### 5/5 — Never a problem *2020-03-13* Having read old reviews, I am pleased to say that I’ve never experienced a subscription problem or an app problem. (Touch wood, now that I’ve put it out to the universe!) The valuable advice, support and information within these virtual covers is without peer, as far as I am concerned. If you are an adult with type 1, type 2, or combination ADHD; or you support someone who does. Don’t see why others have not given it a 4 or 5 star rating because it’s detailed, very comprehensive and so informative! ### 5/5 — ADDitude: One-Stop-Shop *2019-07-09* I realize that this review is supposed to be about the App... and my review does cover the App. In tandem with this company’s website, this App rounds out the most complete offering of expert, community, and parent resources on ADHD I have encountered. As a magazine App, the App works perfectly to my expectations. With my paid subscription, I have access to archived issues, am notified to download the latest issues and read the magazine in a standard mobile reader format.
