About

Compare the address you trust with the address you are about to use before an irreversible Bitcoin send. AddressGuard Bitcoin gives you one clear Check screen with two fields: Original address and Address to check. Paste, scan, or choose a photo for each address, then compare them character by character. The result is plain: - Addresses match - Do not send — characters are different When addresses differ, AddressGuard highlights the exact positions so you can inspect them yourself. Technical format, network, and checksum details remain available in a collapsed section when you need them. Your first three comparisons are free. AddressGuard Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase that adds unlimited comparisons, saved trusted addresses, full local History, and export. There is no subscription or trial in the current app. The app has three tabs: - Check — compare two Bitcoin payment targets - Saved — switch between saved trusted addresses and local History - Settings — help, privacy, terms, alerts, accessibility, Pro, restore, and export Privacy by design: - No account - No analytics or advertising SDK - No crash-reporting SDK - No network calls - Comparisons, Saved, and optional History stay on this device unless you choose to export AddressGuard supports on-chain Bitcoin addresses, Lightning invoices, Lightning Addresses, and LNURLs. It validates supported formats locally and does not resolve Lightning Addresses or LNURLs over the network. AddressGuard never connects to a wallet, asks for keys or seed phrases, holds funds, signs a transaction, sends money, or broadcasts a payment. It compares public payment targets you provide. Important: AddressGuard can help you spot differences. It cannot guarantee fund safety, prove who controls an address, prevent every loss, recover a wrong send, or replace your normal transaction review.
