All of a sudden it’s like all the characters are walking through quick sand. The only thing that works is the clock making this level impossible. Much to my disappointment, though, the game freezes right at the end of level 10, making it impossible to finish. I have tried several times. Please fix this bug ! Doing so would bring this up to a 5 star ! ### 3/5 — Freezes on level 10 *2020-02-14, version 1.1.3* I enjoy these games, and gladly paid again for the new version, but the game slows (a worker will take minutes to carry something to the warehouse, or the main character will take minutes to complete a task, such as chopping a bush) just before the end of the level, making it impossible to finish. ### 4/5 — Could Be Amazing *2020-02-01, version 1.1.3* Thank you so much for updating this game! It is so fun and challenging but there are a couple of bugs. It does not consistently save progress on levels, which is so frustrating. Also, the mechanics of upgrading and demolishing buildings are too similar and a couple of times I’ve accidentally demolished buildings that I wanted to upgrade! This would be a 5 star game if the save issue was resolved. ### 3/5 — Oh dear what a pity *2019-12-22, version 1.1.2* I just love these games. They are brilliant. 1. They have released this and it is episode 3. What happened to episode2 2. I have paid $3.99 now twice and it does not acknowledge this at all and I have to watch adverts before I can get to the next level. What is really sad is this is exactly what happened with all of their last releases. Doesn't anybody do QA BEFORE release.. Love the game just disappointed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not good. *2022-05-19, version 1.1.3* Downloaded the game, played without upgrading it at first but lost all progress as there was no clear way to save it so I decided to upgrade it thinking that it might appear when I did, or at the very least tell me how to do it but no, lost all progress again! That straight away makes it a one star! Now, the game IS enjoyable to play, if a little dated. Having said that, it is pretty and I can see there could be a lot of fun to be had there. It’s easy to pick up as it doesn’t bombard you with an overwhelming amount of stuff all in one go like many of these types of games do (especially the PTW ones). The real winner for me was it’s NOT pay to win AT ALL! A one off payment to upgrade (which was £3.49 for me in the UK) and that’s it, you have the whole game. There were a few glitches when clicking on the buildings as you never knew what window would pop up or what it would actually say but this really isn’t a deal breaker as you’ll hardly need to use it. You know what the building is and what it does so what you’ll need it for is to demolish some structures and you can get that up easy enough. I hate to give this one star as I WAS enjoying it, right up until I had no way to save it and I lost everything. That really is the only deal breaker for me but I’d say it was a pretty big one. I could leave it running in the background on my iPad and come back to it but there may come a time when that will time out and take me back to the Home Screen which still leaves me starting from scratch. It’s a shame but I’m a bit annoyed about it and might come back to it and see if it ever does save and how long it takes. I don’t want to pour an hour or two into it and be faced with the same issue. Edit: Ok, so I’ve figured out the save system. Still a horrible way for a save feature to be but at least there is one. My only other issue is that there doesn’t seem to be a book 2 on iOS. Seems a shame to do book 3 first without doing 1 & 2, the 1st one is there but no 2 so I’ll wait and see if it appears. I can’t play it on PC as my PC is a dedicated racing rig and would take too much to shuffle it all around. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t play on iPad *2021-06-30, version 1.1.3* I used to play this on both PC and Mac and loved it (the whole trilogy). When I saw it for iPad I was really happy and now I’m so disappointed - it doesn’t play, totally unresponsive, you can’t use the touch screen at all with either pencil or finger touch. Deleted within 10 minutes of fighting with it ### 1/5 — Games become choppy *2020-05-13, version 1.1.3* Bought this game, play it nicely, until got into Part Two - Chapter Five, almost half session on it, then the game become ‘choppy’ in slow motion style. Well, bought and spent money only to disappointment....... don’t spend money on this game, gamers... ### 1/5 — PLEASE FIX LEVEL 10 *2020-05-02, version 1.1.3* Part 2, Chapter 5 (aka level 10) has a horrible glitch at the end of the chapter. All the characters freeze or move in slow motion. The end result is that EVERYTHING takes triple the time to accomplish (e.g. building a structure in slow motion takes FOREVER) which means no matter what, you can’t finish the level in gold time. Which means you can’t play the Conclusion. Many other users have reported this issue, so please fix it! We’ve paid for the game, we want to be able to play all of it! ### 1/5 — Crashes A Lot *2020-04-23, version 1.1.3* The game concept is great and I love playing it. Unfortunately, I experience a lot of crashes at random times during game play. Additionally, it fails to launch at times and the only fix I’ve found is to completely restart my iPad. Could be four or five stars but I expect better performance / stability for a game I pay for. Update - Now it will not launch at all. I’m using the latest iOS and game version. Restarted iPad, deleted and reinstalled the app, ... no good. Guess that is $4.99 I won’t get back and I won’t be donating any more money to Qumaraon. ### 1/5 — Full version. *2019-12-20, version 1.1.2* Bought and paid for full version, but game will not acknowledge it. ### 2/5 — Boring *2025-04-10, version 1.1.3* All you do is watch the little men collect things on their own. Once in a while you can click to build something or pick up the rare plant, but everything else happens with little to no input from you. Very dull ### 2/5 — Adelantado 3 *2022-03-31, version 1.1.3* This is such a fun game and I had to rebuy it because the old version didn’t work on my new iPad, but loved playing this quest adventure so it didn’t matter to me…but…IT CRASHES ALL THE TIME😞 I read all the reviews before I repaid for this game and it stated that the glitches were fixed…Wrong. I can’t get to complete the quest because it either crashes near the ending of the story or it goes into super slow mode which is comical. I would have given this game a 5 Star review if it worked properly. Don’t waste your money people, it doesn’t work right, so disappointed ☹️ ### 2/5 — Chapter 5 of Book 2 is unplayable *2021-07-25, version 1.1.3* I was really happy to see this old favorite had been revived again. However, the last regular chapter slows down to an unplayably slow crawl at the end, making it impossible to finish (latest IOS version, on iPhone 12 Pro or iPad Pro). If this could be fixed it would be much appreciated. ### 3/5 — Part 1 chapter 4 *2021-11-03, version 1.1.3* This game would be very enjoyable except for the fact that you can’t find the 14th secret in part 1 chapter 4. This 3rd part runs perfectly on iPad and is very interesting and fun. A bit hard to see some of the things to collect but that's because it's a small screen and does not detract from the entertainment. I like being able to explode defunct equipment as it makes space to build new stuff.
