## What is Adhan & Prayer?

Highlights
• Next prayer and time remaining: See the upcoming prayer and how long is left on your Home Screen.
• Daily prayer times: Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha in one list.
• Gregorian and Hijri dates: Today's date in both calendars.
• Prayer notifications: Get an alert a set number of minutes before each prayer.
• Live Activity: The next prayer and time remaining on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
• Reminders by place: Save a mosque, market or school and get your note when you arrive.
• Zone reminders: Draw zones on the map and get notified when you enter them, and optionally when you leave.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-17

What's new in 1.2

• New look: a refreshed design inspired by Seljuk art, with a deep navy background and softer, glass-style cards.
• Dates on the main screen: the next prayer card now shows today's Gregorian and Hijri dates. The Hijri date changes after Maghrib, as in the Islamic calendar.
• Hijri date in widgets: the medium and large Home Screen widgets now show the Hijri date too.
• Natural wording: times, counts, and units follow your app language, so you see "min" in English and "мин" in Russian.
• Instant language switch: the prayer list and zone card update as soon as you change the app language.
