For the amount of money you spent on this bed set up he would expect it to actually work. Once finding the correct app to use for my bed, it worked for a few minutes, then upon trying to update the firmware you get an error message every time and the app will no longer connect to the bed or function. From all the other reviews over the past year, this is not new and it’s unbelievable that they are not updating this app or fixing this issue. some people said not to do the update, but I don’t remember even seeing an option to not do it.

The app is extremely basic. Although it did work momentarily, it only connected to my husband’s side of the bed and I could not get it to switch and connect with mine.
Someone really needs to update this app.

This app is essentially unusable. Like many others have said, as soon as you agree to the persistent “update firmware” message (which has no cancel option), the app stops working entirely and no longer controls the Nectar adjustable bed. Reinstalling the app, resetting the bed, or reconnecting Bluetooth does nothing. It’s shocking that such a critical bug has been allowed to persist for months — possibly years — without a fix. Releasing a production-breaking update and then ignoring it is unacceptable. For a premium product like Nectar’s adjustable bed, this is a terrible user experience. Avoid relying on this app until it’s properly fixed.

So after updating firmware I got a error message and bed function would not work as before update reading the message in the firmware update box it said to reset Bluetooth in the setting section locate the app in the list turned off and back on exit out and went back to app and now all work as intended

We just purchased a Nectar Adjustable Luxe Frame. The instructions directed us to download this app. It worked for a few minutes, then the app kept asking us to update the firmware. As soon as we did that, the app said that the firmware update failed, then the app would no longer work. Worthless at this point.

Constantly pesters you to update firmware and if you give in… the app will no longer control your bed. !!!Do not update firmware!!! It will make all bed functions fail.
