まったく使えなかった。
低グレードには対応してなかった。タグでも忍ばせないと
アプリ使用中のみ位置情報ONにしてても車で買い物出かけてもいつも位置情報ひろいに行ってるから、データ量取られちゃう。

Sadly the navigation part of the app is not working. Once you select a destination it’s stuck and you can’t go back to the home menu. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

This app is so annoying. Keeps asking for a login every time I use it. Why can’t it just remember my login? Even when I enter the login, the login button does not respond. Yes there is an option for send a login code but it never arrives. This app is great… if you can login to it.

Lately, this app has become almost unusable. I’ve been trying to log in for over half an hour just to use the lights on my bike, as I can’t turn them on without the app.

On top of that, the navigation stops working after about five minutes, making it impossible to use for longer rides. It’s incredibly frustrating that not only is the navigation unreliable, but I can’t even log in to access basic features.

Overall, the app’s performance has become very disappointing and needs urgent improvement.

Very disappointing. The ADO app is unreliable, unstable, and frequently disconnects. Navigation on the bike display simply does not work properly. The app makes many of the bike’s smart features unusable. I’m seriously considering returning the bike because of this. Please fix these issues as soon as possible.

The app is awful. It takes an age to connect and many of the features don’t work or not enabled. FAQ tutorial links aren’t hyperlinked and no way of copying them. Just really poor.

Air20を購入してしまいました。アプリと接続しているにも関わらず走行データが取得できません。何度か再接続を繰り返したら、ファームウェアが古すぎて接続できません、と表示されました。でもファームウェアのアップデート方法がどこにも書いてありません。アプリ内にはどこにもボタンはなく、サイトにメッセージを送ってもボットが意味ない返事を返してくるだけで無対応。売りっぱなしの詐欺まがいの企業です。日本人のYouTuberが案件で良さそうなこと言ってますが、よくもこんな酷いものに嘘ついて動画を作れるなというレベル。
もう一度言います。この会社の製品を買ってはいけません。

The low star ratings are from user connection issues rather than the app itself which is great. To pair successfully, don’t connect your phone directly to the eBike. If it is then ‘forget the connection’ in phone bluetooth settings. Then, use the ADO app to connect bike to bluetooth.

Simple app for ADO bike owners, works as intended, lets you track some stuff and change configs. Not that you need it but nice to have. Overall happy with the company, bike and app.

the vast majority of these app reviews highlight two issues: account registration and bike connection. i can confirm that these issues are present, but are very easy to fix if you apply a bit of basic tech know-how. 

registration - the verification code will most likely be directed to your spam inbox. that was the case for me, and while it's slightly concerning, it's also not uncommon for this to happen with emails sent from foreign companies that aren't widely known to common western services like gmail.

connection - another review pointed out that, to connect the bike to the app, you have to connect THROUGH THE APP, not through your bluetooth settings. if you have already attempted to connect via the latter option, forget the connection, and try again on the app.

the bike itself is fantastic, don't let the app perform dissuade you from buying/using it. the gear override feature is fantastic and is great for those who will want an extra boost.

…failed with 1.3.4 and 1.3.8 and ADO Support promised this will be fixed in the next version. 
It is fixed with version 1.4.1 now for me.

Tried for more than 10min to connect to my bike (Air20) on my iPhone 12 mini without any success… ends up being useless for me…

App is quite clunky, sometimes will connect to the bike eventually after several tries, sometimes I’ve have to do the reset and forget this device etc. 
it needs a massive update to iron out these issues. 
Also the navigation section is not available. 
There are no tutorials to show settings within the app, particularly the engineering modes to change speed and power etc. 
is there going to be an update for this app anytime soon?
