Could not open the book for the life of me and had to google the issue as the setup instructions are nonexistent. As it turns out, one has to “authorize” the app before one can use it. That would’ve been useful to know upon opening the app. Why there isn’t an integrated setup process in the app is beyond me. Regardless, I shouldn’t have bothered to go through all the trouble as the app can’t even display the pages of the book properly. It is wholly useless. This app shouldn’t be available on the app store as it has no utility whatsoever and all it does is waste people’s time. ### 1/5 — Ten Years Later… *2026-05-05, version 4.5.11.2* I see reviews as old as 10 years and every one of them says the same thing. Adobe has the brain power to develop an excellent app, yet they didn’t. They could have fixed it at any point in the past 10 years, yet they didn’t. And now here I am, unable to even read the introduction in full. Unusable trash *2026-03-29, version 4.5.11.2* The app is so clunky and buggy i couldn't even view or read the quick start guide file. Furthermore you have to set up an adobe account to be able to authorize protected digital books, and that process was also a nightmare on the adobe site. Clearly the company takes no pride in their product or user experience, but rather relies on building their products into someone's workflow by being the only tool available with the permissions needed. Spent $4 on ANOTHER dysfunctional app called Bluefire Reader which is equally broken. All to try and read a cookbook. Adobe needs to delete this altogether or update it. It won’t allow me to create an ID. When I click on “create ID” the page change to a page you cannot click on. Auch mit Onleihe geht es wieder. Wobei es nicht an Onleihe lag ;-) Danke, dass es wieder geht, ich hatte die App schon eine längere Zeit genutzt, auf unterschiedlichen Geräten und die ist alle Mal 5 Sterne wert.
