### 3/5 — Preset import and organization needs major work

*2026-08-16, version 11.5.1*

Mobile subscriptions is so clunky with presets. You have to import them in to your ‘user presets’ vs into any folder you create. So it’s terrible to either locate the one you want or trying to organize your presets. Literally have to apply the preset then save the preset and rename it one by one. Like what kind of user experience is that. This seems so basic.

### 3/5 — Erase not working

*2026-07-28, version 11.4.21*

for the past few years, the app has worked wonderfully when it came to editing photos taken on my camera. Till recently, the remove button to erase or remove certain things has not been working as it should. Originally I thought it was my WiFi, however with everything else being checked I ultimately came to the conclusion that it is the app itself. I’m thinking this may be a bug that needs to be fixed.

### 2/5 — Been inconsistent

*2026-05-25, version 11.3.2*

Been using it for a while with hardly no issues. Within the past week, some of my presets quit working, will not load photos from my device, will not load the presets with my photos already in the app, and will not download them.

### 3/5 — Price change

*2026-04-05, version 11.2.2*

I have been using Lightroom for years now and the features are great for what I need. However, the recent 40% price jump from £4.99 to £6.99 a month is pretty atrocious! I may have to sadly begin a search for a new app as, knowing Adobe, they will most definitely do this again…

### 1/5 — What a joke

*2026-03-20, version 11.2.2*

None stop “settings are too large for this device” despite having newest tablet, tons of memory and only creating couple of masks!!

### 1/5 — Error when copying settings

*2026-03-16, version 11.2.1*

Can’t copy and paste settings. App gives an error. Can’t create presets either. Fix it

### 4/5 — Great app for iPad

*2026-03-16, version 11.2.1*

Overall, this is a very good app for photo editing on my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. Everything seems to work as intended. My iPad does get hot and the app starts to lag a little but other than that it’s a fantastic app. Now here’s the real reason I gave it a four star instead of a five. The brush tool on here should have auto masking so when you’re painting with the brush, you don’t go outside of the lines of what you’re masking.

### 1/5 — No Email Support, Broken Forum Posting, and Missing Pro Features

*2026-03-14, version 11.2.1*

I’m posting this here because Lightroom provides no way to send product feedback directly by email. On iPad, reaching support pages or attempting to provide feedback requires navigating through Help/Support, opening the Adobe Community site in a browser, and signing in with an Adobe ID just to write a comment. What could be sent in a quick email instead becomes a multi-step process simply to submit feedback.

Even after reaching the correct page, such as the feature suggestion section, the submission system itself is unreliable. The “Create a post” button is difficult to locate and not positioned near the posts where users would expect it. The “Looking for suggestions…” button, intended to check for duplicate requests, frequently hangs and never loads, preventing the post from being submitted at all. In my case the page simply stalled and would not allow the post to go through, meaning I could not even submit the suggestion after completing the entire process.

This adds yet another layer of friction to what should be a straightforward feedback process. After finally reaching this forum, users are expected to understand posting rules, search through thousands of threads and comments to avoid duplicates, and participate in a voting system. For many people trying to submit feedback in the middle of their editing workflow, this is unrealistic. Most users do not have the time to review large numbers of existing posts, recruit others to vote, or track forum etiquette just to communicate a product issue. Product feedback should not depend on navigating a forum system.

Lightroom CC is a professional subscription product. A simple public email address for Lightroom product feedback would allow users to communicate suggestions efficiently without navigating multiple pages and authentication steps.

Two requests:
	1.	Numeric tone curve entry in Lightroom CC (especially on iPad). The tone curve currently requires dragging points on a graph. Exact input/output values cannot be typed, and on iPad the numbers are not visible at all. This makes it difficult to reproduce tone curves or build consistent presets.
	2.	Full People masking on Lightroom CC for iPad. Desktop CC allows masks for skin, hair, eyes, lips, clothing, and other detailed selections. On iPad masking is often limited to broader selections such as subject or background. The same segmentation tools should exist on the iPad version.

### 1/5 — How to lose a gallery

*2026-03-08, version 11.2.1*

This app doesn’t fully account for the iPadOS status bar, notch, or top menu. In Lightroom (or similar apps), the interface is “crowded” at the top, & the app is unusable.

### 3/5 — Error when copying settings

*2026-03-04, version 11.2.1*

Can’t copy and paste settings. App gives an error. Fix

### 2/5 — Keeps stopping the synchronization

*2026-03-01, version 11.2.1*

Love it but keeps saying I need more storage cause it stops synchronizing

### 3/5 — Some Features Lost

*2026-02-15, version 11.1.1*

It needs to allow users to star or flag multiple photos at once by select -> star. There is serious efficiency loss if the user cannot do this.

### 1/5 — RAW Paywall?

*2026-01-29, version 11.1.1*

Rating this 1 star so the devs see (otherwise 2 stars).	I was using this app no problem completely free. Was taking photos on my RX100 MKII and exporting them in RAW format to edit. Many of the AI features were stuck behind a paywall but that was fine because I just wanted to retouch the colors. However, a few days ago I noticed I could no longer edit the photos I had been uploading previously, and it was now behind a paywall.
At that point, why even use Lightroom? All of the professional features and dialed in color editing that I could use with RAW was just blocked behind a paywall. At that point I could just use apple's built in software and get the same results because all JPEG edits the same.
	Thanks Adobe. Please fix this.

### 2/5 — Have had Lightroom for years. It glitches so much now & freezes. Nearly impossible to use anymore

*2026-01-22*

I have done a majority of my edits on Lightroom for at least the last 3 years. I have imported large files and have had no issue working through edits. However, now I can’t even edit one photo from my phone camera. Things stay greyed out and unusable due to lagging and being stuck. I’ve updated devices, apps, restarted, tried different devices and this app is a mess. Not sure why I’m paying for something that literally gets worse with time. It’s sad too because it’s been my go to for years, and seems like they have not improved a thing, except add all the AI integrations that take up so much space “analyzing” when the app can hardly run as is it seems. Very unhappy with how things have been working lately and will be looking for a new company to pay for their services given this shows no signs of improvement. Pretty sad. I know a lot of photographers use Lightroom. Should probably fix it soon before you lose a bunch of customers (and I’d say soon considering all the comments saying the same)

### 1/5 — Panorama?

*2026-01-21, version 11.1.1*

How is it 2026 and this app still doesn’t have the ability to create panoramas. Affinity photo does it miraculously. Come on adobe, it’s time to start using some of that greedy subscription money and start updating this app with stuff we actually want.

### 1/5 — Feature missing

*2026-01-16, version 11.1*

Perspective distortion tools are missing in the iPad version???

### 2/5 — Unusably Slow

*2026-01-01, version 11.1*

I have been trying to edit and download the same 19 photos for nearly 24 hours now the speed is so antiquated. It’s like using dial up from 20 years ago. I can’t even get a preview to load within a five minute timeframe so that I can just finish downloading it. This is not an internet speed issue.

### 3/5 — AI remove tool isn’t working

*2025-12-25, version 11.1*

The new update is not allowing me to remove anything with it crashing. I’m trying to edit photos for a client and it’s taking me longer to get the pictures back to them due to me not able to erase anything. Please fix this issue I’m paying $50 a month for this app and I can’t do anything.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t turn off ai bloat

*2026-08-14, version 11.5.1*

Adobe training ai on your photos is some bs

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2026-07-10, version 11.4.10*

Presets are making the pgm crash

### 1/5 — A scam

*2026-06-20, version 11.4*

Adobe won’t let me restore a deleted photo because I don’t have enough cloud space. What a joke, I have tons of IPad space and that’s what matters to me, but instead I’m being coerced into purchasing more cloud space. F that. F Adobe.

### 1/5 — Predatory tactics to keep customers

*2026-06-14, version 11.3.3*

I’m happy to have left that island that makes it difficult to leave. There are plenty of apps that do the same thing, pay a one time price, plus updates and don’t have to get your bank account attacked by these people. Thank you for all you offer, Apple.

### 1/5 — Missing basic features

*2026-06-05, version 11.3.3*

It is ok and loads the photos fast but Lightroom was traditionally for organising and as such it is missing basic features such as the ability to adjust what information is displayed I can choose from a variety of camera info and date (some of which I don’t need but can’t turn off) or exposure but not a combination of both. Also iPads are light for travelling but there is no way to adjust photo metadata on the iPad version for time zones - this is super easy on Lightroom classic. I found this program harder to learn to use perhaps because I was looking for stuff that wasn’t there. I found the whole sync situation difficult and couldn’t find an option that said store photo locally /transfer files to cloud - I would much prefer this to it automatically filling up the cloud - which I can’t work out how to fix without deleting photos (I would like the copies on the iPad they came from). For some reason my presets don’t load on iPad- I suspect because it automatically filled the cloud with photos but I bought a iPad with storage for a reason.
A year later this review is still how I feel about Lightroom no ability to search via camera for raw photos.or batch rename files.
Edited to add, this program is no longer usable for me as I have filled up the space on the cloud and filled up the space on the iPad, they lack of ability to store photos anywhere but adobe cloud or in the app makes it unusable, I would like to be able to save photos in the files section or on an external hard drive so that 8 can edit them on the iPad, I much prefer to edit on the iPad but without the option of external storage it is simple not possible, and yes it also still annoys me that I can’t do simple meta data searches.

### 1/5 — Don’t get the subscription

*2026-04-21, version 11.3.1*

The app is good, with good features, but when I need to cancel it they charge me 60$ it’s outrageous. Just let me cancel instead of scamming me

### 1/5 — Misleading, lost hundreds of hours of work

*2026-04-19, version 11.3*

Archiving photos to disk removes them from albums. Hours and hours of careful archiving and cataloguing lost in a minute. Do not trust lightroom or adobe for proper photography / photobook editing work.

### 1/5 — Subscription based app

*2026-04-06, version 11.2.2*

This is a subscription based app, which means you’ll never own it and will have to keep paying forever just to use it. No matter how well made an app is, if it’s a subscription based app, it is a bad app. There is no such thing as a good subscription based app. Avoid at all costs

### 1/5 — Frustrating and Disappointing if you are a professional photographer.

*2026-03-30*

Lightroom mobile on the iPad is not for the professional photographer. Adobe really has dropped the ball with this app. I had a dream of editing everything on my 2tb iPad Pro m4, but it’s impossible and frustrating. I switched from my legacy adobe cloud 20gb plan to the 1tb plan, and that was also a big mistake. There is no way i could edit a wedding or a day’s worth of wildlife photos from one of the trips that i lead on Lightroom mobile for the IPad. First, good luck getting all of the photos imported. Second, the app is unreliable, even after importing and having the album stored locally, there is always issues. Nothing worse than being out in the bush wanting to edit photos on your iPad and you can’t because Lightroom mobile did not save your photos correctly and due to the lack of the internet, you can’t access the photos or your presets. Noise reduction is pretty terrible on the iPad as well. The phone version of Lightroom is better than the iPad. Adobe should abandon Lightroom mobile for the iPad and make a “classic” version where one can import their catalog and photos and not really on adobes unstable and slow cloud for edits. Adobe Lightroom mobile is not for the professional photographer, it may work for the casual user who just wants basic editing. Save your time and money and just stick with your MacBook.

### 1/5 — Just make it LrC already

*2026-03-26, version 11.2.2*

Please stop trying to make this version of Lightroom a thing and make the actually useful Lightroom Classic available on the iPad. There is no reason that all the functionality of LrC can’t be implemented here.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Recadrage?

*2026-05-04, version 11.3.1*

### 5/5 — Needs updates

*2026-03-02, version 11.2.1*

Wonderful program, super quick. And easy. My only complaint is that there’s no AI noise reduction. Please add that adobe. Please. It’s so close to fully featured, why not just add the couple of features?

Also. Why can’t I open an image on iCloud Drive.

### 5/5 — It’s a good app but

*2025-12-21, version 11.1*

I like this app but where is the stabilizer to stabilize my videos?

### 5/5 — Amazing-

*2025-10-19, version 10.5.2*

'

### 5/5 — ❤️❤️❤️

*2025-10-11, version 10.5.2*

This app has saved my life and allowed me to start my business back up again and be confident that I have a photo editor that I can count on! I feel like the price per month is also very reasonable. Definitely recommend
