If logs you off and then it doesn’t ask to log you back in. Very frustrating. Plus you can add projects from the app how useless. ### 1/5 — Timesheets are cumbersome *2025-07-21* It’s really hard to view and edit hours on my timesheet. I usually HAVE to do it on the computer, no choice. I’d love to see some better app functionality here. It’s actually the only thing we use Workfront for, since I work on several projects. ### 1/5 — Ew *2025-07-02* Quite possibly the worst thing Adobe has produced. It’s impossible to actually use the app to work on any projects since there’s no way to make meaningful changes to tasks. Oddly enough, event things like mentioning (@) someone is confusing…. You never know when the person’s name is simply written out or if they’ve been tagged as there’s no indication with bold letters or anything. If you want to use your dashboards, forget about it. None of the helpful views you have on desktop are usable on the app. I wish there would be improvements to the app to make it useable in a meaningful way. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t deserve one star! *2025-06-23* The only updates this app ever gets are bug fixes—but the bugs never seem to disappear. Adobe, if you’re going to keep this project management tool alive, perhaps you should put some effort into modernizing and making the UI more friendly (and a heck of a lot more functional). The majority of project management tasks can be done on a mobile platform, but not with Workfront. Outrageous license pricing for a garbage application. This doesn’t even deserve one star. ### 2/5 — Love the UI but it constantly crashes *2025-06-19* I actually prefer the UI of this app to the web application. The home screen is very straightforward, tasks are easy to find and follow up on, etc. My gripe is that it's very unstable. I'm not sure if it's due to software incompatibility with IOS updates or what, but this week it crashes within seconds of opening😕 ### 1/5 — Huh? *2025-05-15, version 6.7.12* It’s like they forgot to build the part where it does anything. Workfront on web is bad, but this is nothing ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2025-04-11* Why even make a mobile app version if it doesn’t even work? There’s no way to find projects, the search function doesn’t work, and it doesn’t even have my Home Page set up correctly. This is the laziest piece of software I’ve ever seen. You should be embarrassed by how bad this is. Whoever decided that this was ready to be launched and available for use should be fired. ### 1/5 — App unusable *2025-04-01, version 6.7.12* App is unusable, can’t see anything in here. I *may* be able to log in, but otherwise I get a “hmm we don’t recognize that domain” message whenever I click on anything. Hmm, I think I will delete this app - the updates fix nothing. Yuck. ### 1/5 — App is terrible *2025-01-30* I work in Workfront on my Mac daily. This app, however, is terrible. It’s shameful that a company like Adobe with all its resources creates an app like this. Logging in is difficult and counterintuitive. I am prompted to relog in every time I attempt to check messages or look at proofs. So it renders the app useless for a positive workflow. Please fix this. ### 1/5 — Non functioning *2025-01-07* This app is completely non functioning in addition to useless, nonsensical UI and impossible confusing UX. It is an embarrassment to the Adobe brand and surprising they don’t seem to care to do anything about it. I have zero options to check proofs on mobile currently which makes no sense in 2025 from a digitally based company. That is not a compliment. I can’t even get it to verify my identity correctly. I’m pretty tech save and this is a comical effort at “ efficiency “. Scrap this and start over. It would be minus 5 stars if I could. ### 1/5 — What even is this?? *2024-09-14* It’s unreal that a company responsible for developing UX and UI to make the underlying software usable could put something like this out. The interface doesn’t make any sense. How do I work on a task? How do I update the progress of a task? What am I supposed to do with this app? Am I just supposed to kind of look around at things and just kind of know they exist somewhere in the company? There is truly no indication of how I as a user am meant to utilize this app. Do I use it to message back and forth on tasks? Where is my home interface that is useful to me? Do I mark progress or check off subtasks in a way that updates the progress bar and informs others? Beyond putting labels and tabs into an app I have no clue what’s been done here to make this an actual tool. It’s simply aggregating a bunch of underlying software functions from the desktop product, and kinda calling them into an app I guess? You took a lot of ingredients, many raw, put them on a plate and slide it messily across the table and said here’s your meal. Could you take a little UX time and UI work to actually chef the ingredients into an award winning and incredibly useful experience? Perhaps and undeniably effective core interaction loop? Cmon yall. You are microsofting yourself so hard right now. Lots of people make software. Not many make useable products that pull ahead of the pack and endear users to be obsessed and love the product. Logging in a 4 step process, and doing it every time i open the app is awful Unusable interface, makes it not even worth going through. Confusing, unclear where anything is. None of the options of the web version. Some things you just cant do in any way on app Ill get a notification, open it, then the app restarts, i hve to log back in, but workfront loses whatever it was, and it disappears forever When notifications come in-app, after clicking on them, they disappear and there is no clear way to access it. If it wasn't a buggy mess, the messy interface would make it unusable. I will never forgive my job for making me use this every day. I probably would have more complaints, but having to log in 500 times, ive completely given up don't even use it anymore. 1 star is too high of a rating ### 1/5 — Trash *2024-09-04* This app used to be good for at least seeing and replying to messages if nothing else. Now I can’t even log in to my company account. I hope Adobe is working on revamping the app. Maybe, don’t try to fit everything into it and focus on just the messaging feature for now. It’s clear the developer doesn’t care enough to create a working product. New projects and tasks are not loading. I can see 8 proofs in my email but nothing in workfront ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — embarrassing *2026-07-31* I can’t believe this product exists. 90% of all actions I have ever taken in this app have not been reflected on the desktop version. My colleagues are unable to see comments I have left, and status changes appear as though no action was taken. Every time an app update is released, I get a renewed sense of hope that “maybe it will work now!” yet every single time I am left disappointed. I can’t imagine what the “bug fixes” they are rolling out could possibly be lol. absolutely unusable app and believe me i have trieddddd. ### 1/5 — No use *2026-06-26* I’ve tried to come back to use this app when away from my computer for the past few years and it is still buggy. It constantly logs me out, things don’t show up properly, can’t respond to comments. The web version of WF is even worse. I logged in with my credentials - none of my tasks show up, there’s no way to log time or see my timesheet. Do not recommend. Only use it because I have to for work. ### 1/5 — Approval button doesn’t work on document approvals *2026-04-28, version 6.7.19* I click approve and doesn’t register. I have to get on my pc to approve because it’s like I never approved it. Notifications come in as some weird code. It’s crazy so much money is spent on this service for the app to be this buggy. ### 1/5 — Document Approvals not working *2026-02-27* For a while now when anyone makes a decision via Document Approval method it doesn’t register. Proof approvals work fine but Document approvals do not. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all cost *2026-02-14* Since timesheets have never worked in this app in any way that could be described consistent, I bill extra time to my employer to find a place to pull out a laptop and log my time via a web browser. Fine with me since I’m hourly and bounce between various locations all day. So, not only is my employer paying an unjustifiably high price for the software, they are paying me extra to make up for its shortcomings. Yet again, you can count on Adobe to fix something until it’s so broken, it becomes unusable. Per usual, mobile apps are usually the bones of the desktop version. This does everything I need it to do when I’m on the go. This app allows me to access the information I need quickly and intuitively. Great collaboration features.
