I’m down to one working camera now (though all of them are charged and I have reset them and reconnected them to the network repeatedly). Only one camera detects motion and does its job at this point, and I can’t even see the recorded events any linger( the app just tells me “error”. We specifically purchased these because we did not want to go with one of the “big companies” and deal with subscriptions or any of the known security breaches with those. Once again, these cameras and their app are letting us down. Worked great for months, but somewhere in early January 2026, all 6 cameras stopped working. Tried to reinstall them, but none of them will connect to 2.4 ghz network. The cameras are functional, but the Adorcam App stopped working, will not connect to cameras… the app is disconnected from server and customer service is non-existent. They just up and left and left us high and dry. I have looked at other apps, and every one of them wants you to pay a lot in my mind and this app does not. If you’re on VPN, pause it when you log out or change your Wi-Fi information as you’ll have to log back in, then you can turn your VPN back on and that will fix the issue where it says unknown network error in this app. ### 5/5 — Works just like I expected it. *2023-10-29* I think I’ve had this cam for about a year now and was shocked just now to see these negative reviews. The pictures are so clean and clear day or night. The app is super easy to use, I never ever had any problems with it. The battery last an average of 3 months and I review footages a lot. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I dont agree with the bad reviews. For the price these cameras give me clear video. To cut down on notifications and recording you need to set the motion detection to a desirable level, which in beginning is a little hit or miss. And my sleep function does work sooo. Has to be charged about every 3 months and it will tell you when. I like seeing my packages delivered and when my yard person shows up. But also when unexpected soliciting or random dog shows up. I set up cameras all around my house. I made sure my WiFi covered the locations and set each camera. I was able to monitor my property from an overseas location via 3G and LTE connection. I was able to get great quality video too. I used the speaker function, but it had a slight delay due to the slow connection, not the cameras or my home WiFi. It was perfect. My home is a fortress now. ### 5/5 — Great little app *2021-10-17* I love this app and the camera that came with it. I’ve been using it for about a year now. The motion detection is spot on and the day and night image quality is awesome. I love that it takes and save a photo of every event so that I don’t have to keep an SR card installed to look through events. I use the app to talk to my pets and it’s so cute to watch them from the app. I also love the alarm feature. It gives me a lot of peace of mind that it will alert me if someone of in my backyard and I can turn an alarm on - which is LOUD.
