### 4/5 — Need to be updated

*2023-10-10*

Need to be updated for ios 17

### 4/5 — Great routine, why no sound

*2020-05-16, version 5.0.2019010701*

The bleeper should have sound, but the routines and video are great.

### 5/5 — Worth every penny!

*2019-02-23*

For just a few quid this app is amazing value for money, plus you don’t have to pay a monthly subscription like most of the fitness apps out there. I use the app at home and with my wife and kids and we found the 8-week challenge really motivating. The tutorials are easy to follow and I was amazed how quickly I started to see results.

### 5/5 — The Rza

*2019-02-18, version 5.0.2019010701*

A very good app because it explains step by step, whilst also punishing you! Great job.

### 5/5 — 👍😍

*2019-02-01*

와 자세도 잘 알려 주시고 무엇 보다 모두를 위한 운동 앱인거 같아요!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic update with great results

*2019-01-08*

I've been working out to Adrian James Bootcamp along with the other Adrian James apps and they are great. The upgraded challenge mode is a great update and helps me focus. A typical training session takes only 15-minutes and you can exercise without any equipment or setting foot into a gym.

### 5/5 — First class app

*2018-12-28*

These apps are simply brilliant. The design is really good and I like the fact you don’t need any equipment so you can literally do these anywhere. Must have fitness app

### 4/5 — A decent, quick Bootcamp session

*2018-08-04*

I’ve been using the Adrian James triple (Bootcamp, HIIT, Abs) for a few weeks now. Full disclosure, I’m fit and capable anyway, I was able to jump straight in at Advanced for all three apps. However, I have a 10 month old daughter and a job that takes up a lot of my time. Hence, exercise time has become more and more limited.
For the price of £2.99 per app, I genuinely believe these are some of the best value-for-money apps out there! Their User Interface (UI) is simplistic and well thought through; the countdown timer is useful, especially with a notification of the last 10 seconds; the running video demos (active whilst exercising) are a real help; the overall points awarded system is a good motivator for some; the quality of the exercises (i.e. the ones chosen) is good; the random choice of exercises is a really good method - you’ve just done burpees? Oh well, tough luck, because squats are coming up next! - and forces you out of your typical comfort zone; you genuinely can do it anywhere, with no extra equipment needed.

However, I’ve dropped AJ one star for a few reasons; 1) as many have stated, the various options on the app dashboard just take you to the AJ Nutrition website, nothing special; 2) the points awarded system is a good motivator for beginners, for others it’s simply a gimmick and surplus to requirements, amounting to not much; 3) the 8-week challenge is, perhaps, a useful touch for beginners (and, in fairness, this is where the points system comes into play), but I would’ve liked to have seen all points from all of the apps utilised in the one challenge, I don’t really see the point in having to run three separate challenges at the same time; 4) the ‘Elite’ section is pointless, it mixes all three difficulty settings in one workout. The reality is that, if you’ve just done an ‘Advanced’ exercise, you may then do a ‘Beginner’ exercise, which drops the tempo hugely and, frankly, you end up having a breather. If you’re at ‘Advanced’ level, you’re far better off simply running an ‘Advanced’ session, with longer exercise times or running the session twice.

However, despite those few negatives, all three apps are still 4 Star quality!

### 5/5 — Does exactly what you want it to do!

*2018-01-04*

Fantastic easy to use, highly motivation app

### 3/5 — Amazing app

*2017-09-24*

I used every other day or when travelling for work. 15 min workouts are brilliant. However now it crashes all the time mid workout! Please update the software as it's worthless

### 5/5 — Beach ready!

*2017-08-11*

Sometimes I can't get to the gym or I'm in between conference calls (working from home) and this is great for that. Its been amazing at getting me ready for spartan races. All round body work out. I love Adrian James. This app will challenge you and so will his others. But the results speak for themselves. Awesome!

### 5/5 — Good challenge n easy to start

*2017-07-16, version 2.3.2016091601*

As above

### 4/5 — App crashing frequently.

*2017-07-10*

While doing workout if we pause and open another app say replying for a message, after we return to this app the app closes automatically, only if we restart the phone the app works again.

### 5/5 — Muito bom

*2017-06-21*

O melhor app que baixei 💪🏾

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Same exercises every day and no stretches!!!!

*2019-08-29*

Very surprised this app has the ratings it has. It is terrible compared to other apps such as 8fit where you have tonnes of different work outs and you can vary difficulty and most importantly encourages stretching after and a warm up before!!!!

### 1/5 — So disappointed

*2019-04-01, version 5.0.2019010701*

I am so disappointed with this App. The reviews made it sound good but there is barely any content on there as the same exercises are just repeated over and over. Gutted!

### 1/5 — New Update not working

*2019-01-09*

I have been using the app for a long time but the latest update has crashed the app and now it won’t work

### 1/5 — Çakışma

*2017-04-18, version 2.3.2016091601*

Çevrimdışı kullanırken Spotify ile çakışıyor ve uygulama çöküyor.

### 1/5 — Now with added advertisements

*2014-02-01, version 2.0.3*

App was fine until you added ads for supplements thought. Just lost all respect for the app and workout plans.

### 1/5 — No iPhone 5 support?

*2013-03-07*

Seriously pathetic that, as of March 7 2013, an app like this one has NO support for the iPhone 5 screen. One star JUST for that. I reserve an update on the actual "program" once the app is fully compatible with the iPhone 5 screen.

### 2/5 — Needs improvement!

*2013-02-16*

Many buttons in this app are unresponsive to the touch (e.g.: the "return to previous screen" button). I was also looking for a bit more of guidance: Am I supposed to do the workout once following the default setup of the app, or repeat a set several times? Or, to make it harder should I just increase the time of each exercise?

### 3/5 — Nice structure but not enough variety

*2022-02-07*

The structure of the app is great, but there are so many other workouts that could be added to these to make it a bit more diverse. There’s no way I can do this for a month and do these few of moves… that would get very boring. I was expecting a lot more from a paid app, there are so many free ones out there that give so many more exercise options.

### 3/5 — Need the option to listen to book music etc.!

*2021-02-02*

Excellent workout app can't listen to music

### 3/5 — Good,, could be great with some guidance

*2018-11-15*

Good, but lack guidance on exercise combinations, then they would be great!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Enjoyment with Adrian James

*2024-10-07*

Next month I will be 79 and I find the excercises to be great and I am slowly getting used to them

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2023-07-30*

What a great app - beautifully simple, easy to follow functional exercises that are easy to do anywhere without any gear and in the shortest time… I highly rate this for helping keep me strong and functional 💪🏽💪🏽

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-10-04, version 5.0.2019010701*

I use this app many years ago and it still work to this day. Great app

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2020-12-30*

Adrian James Apps, and THERMOBLAZE have changed my life. These fitness apps are the bomb, yes they’re hard some beastly in fact but you can start as a beginner and work your way up. Adrian James is a fantastic bloke, he’s only a message away if I have any questions or worries. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this deserves a review. Download these today and start a path to a better healthier you.
