I was happy to see an app, assuming that I'd be able to sign in, and then see my photos on my iPad. I don't see any way to sign in to an existing account. The app is NOT user-friendly and poorly designed. Accounts are down and data now irretrievable. *2017-05-09, version 1.4.2* What in the world is going on? Data inaccessible for days. No response from customer care, their Facebook page has been removed. Awfully scared they've been hacked and I'll never see my data again. This app is very useful, but you need to know how to use it. There is an option that says local browser, and this is where your downloaded files go. From there you can open them with any other apps. Look forward to the future update. ### 4/5 — Finally...Figured it out. Whew!!!!! *2014-09-02, version 1.3* Like others, I had an A Drive account for years. I was happy to see the app, also. For weeks, I could not figure it out and believe it was useless. Today, I decided to give it another shot. After figured it out and it is great. After downloading the app, open it up. You will see a screen that has grayed out buttons. Disregard that. Swipe from right to left and you will see another screen. This screen has a place for Login and Password. These are the first two lines. Enter the same Login and Password that you use when visiting the website. After you enter this information, look at the fourth line which is Remote Drive. DON'T ENTER ANYTHING! Press Browse on the far right of this line and you will see your folders. Click your folders and/files ### 4/5 — Excellent! *2014-03-26, version 1.3* The app works great! Once you download the files hold the file down for a few seconds and it will give you an option to open the file in another app I just wish it would play more video formats and more music formats. The UI is a bit weird, but after fiddling around for a few minutes, it worked fine for me. If you don't select both a local and remove folder, nothing will happen. 50GB is worth the extra trouble. My ebooks open file in my readers, so I am a happy camper. ### 2/5 — Childish UX *2016-11-29, version 1.4.2* I will continue to explore functionality but until the UI quality improves I can't justify more than two stars. This is the cover and software is judged by the cover. As a developer I have worked with several UX developers and they've taught me the importance of screen layout and flow. Whoever built this may be good at middle tier on down but this team needs a front end developer. Also, why do the other reviews have better usage instructions than the app? ### 2/5 — Very clunky app on a apple product *2015-11-04, version 1.4.2* This storage/backup for me was free. It was ok but hard to use. Now they are charging $ it's ok. But for the not so good product they have. I would avoid them like the plague. You have to guess. Once you figure out how to link to your account, I can see that my files are there, but don’t know how to open them to view the contents. There is a Download button that appears to download the file, but can’t find where exactly the file downloaded to on the iPad.
