Even if some time passes before installation, the interest that brought you to Adry is less likely to be lost. ■ Improved Kao follow notifications You can now receive a notification when someone new follows your Kao. Notification wording has also been updated in Japanese, English, and Korean to better match the current Adry experience. ■ Better protection against unintended follows We strengthened safeguards so that starting Adry from a shared link does not accidentally connect you to the wrong Kao or space. ■ First-time experience and stability improvements We refined several parts of the first launch experience, shared Kao entry flow, and notification display. In Adry, following a Kao gives you access to Check Out. When you Check Out a followed Kao, Chapters that person has viewed can appear as Highlights. This update makes the path from discovering a Kao to exploring new Chapters through that person's point of view more continuous and reliable. ### 4.2.2 — 2026-08-18 This update improves the first-time experience when installing Adry from a shared Kao page. Previously, in some cases, someone could discover Adry through a shared Kao, install the app, and then lose the connection to the Kao that originally brought them there when opening Adry for the first time. With this update, that connection now carries naturally into the app. When you start Adry from a shared Kao, you can begin with the Kao that caught your interest and move into your Feed from there, allowing your experience to grow from something you were already curious about. Adry is designed around the idea that your experience should not begin with an overwhelming stream of information. Instead, what you see can gradually take shape from the things you genuinely choose to explore. This update makes that first step feel more continuous — from discovering something outside Adry to beginning your experience inside the app. We have also improved the stability and initial behavior of the app when starting from a shared Kao. ### 4.2.1 — 2026-08-18 This update improves the experience of starting Adry from a shared Kao. In some cases, when someone installed Adry through a shared Kao link, the connection that brought them there was not carried into their first experience, causing Adry to begin as a regular new registration instead. With this update, when you arrive at Adry through someone’s Kao, that starting point is preserved more reliably through the initial setup. We have also improved how Adry handles situations where the necessary information cannot be confirmed during registration. Instead of continuing with incomplete information, Adry will now let you try again and continue once the connection is ready. If someone’s Kao is what brought you to Adry, opening the app should feel like a continuation of that moment — not a completely separate beginning. This update makes that first experience more natural and reliable. We have also made additional stability improvements and minor fixes for first-time users. ### 4.2.0 — 2026-08-16 This update makes Adry more than something you simply scroll through. We redesigned the experience around Feed, Kao, and Table so you can shape how your interests appear and explore different ways of seeing them. ■ Check Out Check Out lets you temporarily experience a Feed based on another Kao’s Table setup. You can explore a different combination of interests and Tables without changing your own Kao or your own setup. ■ More control over your Feed You can now make your selected Table more central to what appears in your Feed. Highlights from Kao you follow can also appear in your Feed while you stay with your own Kao and Tables. We also rebuilt how the Feed is generated so the Tables you choose are reflected more reliably. ■ A more natural Highlight experience We improved how Highlights are displayed and how Adry remembers what you have already seen. Highlights you have already checked are less likely to repeatedly return to the front, making it easier to notice what is actually new. Notifications were also redesigned to prevent the same update from being delivered repeatedly. ■ A new Chapter video experience Chapter videos can now be viewed continuously with vertical navigation. When a video finishes, Adry can move naturally to the next one. Tap controls, pause behavior, and video navigation have also been refined. When you reach the end of videos in your Feed, the experience can continue smoothly into the next available videos. ■ Better Kao sharing Sharing a Kao is now much more natural. When you share a Kao through apps such as iMessage, its information and image can appear as a rich preview card. We also improved the path from a shared Kao link back into Adry. Even when someone installs Adry after opening a shared link, it is now easier to continue to the Kao that was originally shared. ■ Japanese, English, and Korean Adry can now be used in Japanese, English, and Korean. We reviewed the experience across major screens, including Feed and Table, so the interface feels natural in each supported language. ■ A unified monochrome design Adry’s visual design has been unified around black and white. Entry, Kao, Table, Feed, link cards, and other major parts of the app have been refined to make the content itself easier to focus on. We also redesigned how unavailable images and links are displayed. ■ Faster and more stable We made major improvements to everyday actions such as refreshing the Feed, switching Tables, and opening Kao profiles. Feed updates are now faster, and memory usage and responsiveness during longer sessions have been improved. We also fixed multiple issues and crashes involving Table creation, Boost, shared links, notifications, video playback, and other parts of the app. The first Adry experience has also been improved. As you choose Kao and Tables and begin using the app, your Feed can adapt more quickly to the interests that matter to you. With this update, Adry gives you more control not only over what you see, but also over how you see it. ### 4.1.9 — 2026-07-16 Thank you for using Adry. In this update, we have focused on significant performance improvements and design refinements to make your experience smoother and more comfortable. [New Features & UI Improvements] Rich Link Previews for Citations When quoting websites or other posts (Chapters), a rich link card with an image and title will now be displayed. This makes it much easier to see the content of the shared link at a glance. Optimized Post Design We have reviewed the design of posts displayed on the timeline and profile screens, unifying the margins between elements for a cleaner, more readable look. Kao (Profile) Screen Enhancements We refined the profile screen by removing unnecessary blank spaces and icons for a sleeker design. We also fixed the touch area of the settings button to prevent accidental taps. [Performance & Stability] Faster Screen Switching & Reduced Memory Usage We have drastically optimized the background processes when switching between your Kao (personas) and Tables, making the app feel much lighter. We also reduced memory consumption when creating posts with images and predicting hashtags, preventing the app from slowing down. Smoother Scrolling Experience We upgraded the internal mechanics of the Table and HashTag timelines. Now, even when scrolling through a massive amount of posts, the app remains exceptionally smooth. Crash Fixes Resolved an issue that could cause the app to crash unexpectedly when opening certain Table profile screens. [Bug Fixes & Other Enhancements] Boost Feature Cooldown Fix Fixed a bug in the Boost feature (news gathering) where the cooldown timer wouldn't reset correctly if the process failed, ensuring you can retry properly without unnecessary waiting. Tab Bar Visibility Fix Fixed an issue where the bottom menu (tab bar) would sometimes remain hidden after returning from a HashTag screen. We will continue to improve Adry to make it a better place for everyone.
