We practice with it once a year at the annual meeting and then for scenarios back at the office throughout the year.
We have fired it up during cases, even for minor things, and it is amazing how helpful it is. Just like a pilot using a checklist.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App more likely to kill someone in the interim than save a life.

*2019-07-11*

Confusing, poorly laid out GUI, relies on external data call to make calculations (good luck in a remote area); complete bloat.

You have 3 minutes to save someone when their heart stops. Not 10. Under nearly all circumstances you need to Call 911 and pump at 110. Under all other circumstances—if you don’t already know what you’re doing—you will lose someone while staring at a glowing rectangle.

### 2/5 — I used to save lives, but now I can’t afford it

*2025-09-24*

This app was wonderful for a long while, but things have changed. I’ll be using the provided PDF instead, which is still an excellent resource.

Note to developers lots of the links in the appendix are broken and not working. This is likely tough to keep up to date as many are links. Just a heads up.
