Advanced Car Eye 3.0 (Pro) Dash Cam comprise two premium wide-angle cameras (QHD for front and FHD for rear) for your vehicle. Using proximity (Radar, Only for ACE 3.0 Pro) and vibration sensors (G sensors), it captures and records critical situations while driving and parking to use as evidence if necessary. Advanced Car Eye 3.0 (Pro) is the monitor and control panel for your cameras. You can watch and download recorded videos and images and make manual recordings. Makes a little sense since the camera is on the passenger side. ### 2/5 — “Live View” is not available *2025-12-07* After losing the ability to launch live view after the most recent update, I had sent my logs of the camera to the support team for troubleshooting. They wrote back to recommend a series of steps and possible replacement of the camera by the BMW dealer. The BMW subsequently replaced the camera checked the wiring however live view was still not working. What is of interest to note is that when the technician at BMW checked on his own personal phone for live view. It worked. I have iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 26.1 however neither my phone nor my wife’s identical phone will show live view have requested troubleshooting by the support team have yet to hear from them. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-10-17* Don’t waste your money, not recording when accident happens. ### 1/5 — Worse than a $50 dash cam *2024-10-16* This ACE 3.0 app almost never connects, sometimes even while inside the car. Whenever it eventually connects after numerous attempts, the recordings are cut into a thousand short clips, so it is hard to view if you need to watch/save continuous brief recording over a minute. There is no real/time streaming within the app. What good is it to only be able to view the videos by either connecting to the camera while in the vehicle or using the SD card in a computer? Ugh $800 I can’t get back. Update: Attempts to view videos are frustrating ; the app forces a WiFi connection which works until you need to scroll past 10 videos then you’re kicked off the WiFi.
