I’ve been using the app for a couple years with no issues.. or so I thought. Apparently it’s deeply flawed. I thought I was paying to my church only to discover the app will automatically choose the church nearest to you and send your money there. Even though I selected the church I wanted it to go to. So very disappointing and beyond frustrated. This entire time I thought it was a convenience. That’s a flaw that should be fixed not shrugged off. 
I will be deleting the app and do not recommend using it.

This app is in need of some updates.
An update is especially needed for giving to our local churches.
Churches from time to time have a special need that comes up. There needs to be a space where the giver can specify “fill in the blank” for their offering. 

Also the transactions should always process within a 24 hours… it has taken up to 48hrs for transactions to process.

I am a new member of the Adventist church and I was excited to download the Adventist Giving app to make my donations easier and more convenient. However, I am extremely disappointed that the app has not been updated in 3 years and transactions are not coming through. 

As a millennial who doesn't carry cash or use checks, I rely on apps like this to make my donations. It is frustrating to see that the app is not functioning properly and I am unable to make my contributions in a convenient way. 

I urge the developers to please update the app and fix the issues with transactions not coming through. As a new member, I want to support my church financially, but I need a reliable and up-to-date app to do so. Please prioritize updating the Adventist Giving app so that members like myself can continue to support our church in a convenient and efficient manner.

As others have noted, there’s a lot of problems with this app. The biggest one is that the developers don’t care about updating the app as long as they get your money. Perhaps removing it from the Apple Store or finding a way to brick it so that it doesn’t work would get their attention???

I have used Adventist Giving for a few years and it has worked as advertised. However, now it fails with an SSL Error when selecting the church or loading the envelope. 

This is very frustrating.

It’s a great way to pay tithe when it’s working…. I have screen shot issues and sent to developers but it’s still not fixed.
There are many places where church is not happening due to Covid and this app helps in getting our tithing paid in a timely matter, please fix it so we can continue!

If it works, it’s adequate.

The 403 error is too common and support seems indifferent to problems. The response was essentially “oh well, you can go to some webpage.”

If you increase the font size on your phone, text in the history rows starts overlapping itself. Support was equally indifferent.

Perhaps it’s time to abandon digital methods for returning tithes

This has been a great app but now suddenly it will not let me log in and there is no where to write the manager of the app so I am stuck writing a review like this.

A little more info would probably be nice.  You keep giving the exact same response to everyone.  Maybe an ETA, or just, “we don’t know how soon we can get it done”.  No problem either way.  But to just cut and paste the same response doesn’t work or build confidence in the app or it’s developers.  Thanks!

The app says “ERROR” and “request failed: forbidden (403) and I have tried reinstalling the app again as well. Otherwise, it was a practical app.

It seems that the app does not work with the new iOS. This app has not been updated in over a year and has capability issues with the new operating system. It’s such a shame because I used to donate all my tithe and offerings through here

….at all! Kicked me out 3x, asked me to pick a church, I tried to type one in and I got an error 403 forbidden message. 

What happened!?

I enjoy using this app for my tithes but unfortunately it is not working for me at the moment. I keep receiving an error 403 that doesn’t let me even type the name of the church I go to. I’d rate it more but I’ll wait until that bug gets fixed. It’s a good app while you don’t have any issues, I would normally recommend.

Useless for treasurers.  Need a better app.  Also, logging in from URL doesn’t work.  This site is down TOO often.  You need to hire an IT firm that can develop an app that works, keeping development internally is not working.
