Perhaps its because there are less hints to be found. When I'm really stuck, ill watch a walkthrough video. I really dont like to do that. More stars please. This game lost me because of the part where you make the rubber ball. I cant seem to time it right. Flowers, close, wait 2 mississippi’s shut then add water, then more mississippi’s. Cant do it. I’m putting this one above the shape-shifter Haiku game. I loved the different perspectives on each room in that one, but this one just kept going and bringing in new scenarios in a way that was really fun. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Mega programming error in chapter 2, game ends here *2022-11-25, version 1.32* Like so many other older Haiku games, programmers had been sloppy and they obviously never ever test their products! I could write a bible full of flaws, glitches and prog errors I found over the past weeks in about hjalf a dozen their games. Shocking. You will have to purchase stars to bypass their glitches - No way for me! Here the cell phone puzzle is unsolvable. No combi will work! I got to this one and I can’t make it past the tutorial as the screen is too large when it gets to the first puzzle and can’t be selected. Hopefully you will have a fix soon. ### 1/5 — Screen issues *2019-04-22, version 1.30* I love games by this developer however this particular one the game is too big for the screen so I can’t get past 2 seconds in the game as I can’t see the side bars or zoom out even if I did manage to collect anything I wouldn’t be able to see it and it won’t let me move on until I get the first free hint Starr which I can’t see as it’s like the middle of the game is zoomed in so unfortunately I’m having to give this one a sad miss ### 1/5 — Unplayable, at least for me *2019-04-01, version 1.30* OK, I’m not the best player for games like this. I have to use walk-throughs for some of the more “random” or chaotic puzzles, but this game quickly became unplayable. There is a challenge to shoot baskets, in the proper order. I figured that part out, and quickly got to the last one. At this point, the trick is to bounce the ball into the goal. (Shooting is done by timing when to choose the left-right position, and then the up-down position, from sliding pointers.) Fine, except even when I knew where to shoot, I could never quite get the combination of positions for the ball to bounce into the goal. Rarely, the ball would bounce, but never successfully. There’s a huge amount of luck involved in getting the timing for this shot “just right”, and a small window of success, apparently. Anyway, to skip this challenge required more points than I had, and would have meant paying $$ just to get past this artificially-difficult task. Which makes the game unplayable, in my opinion. I understand they want to make money, and if the game was as enjoyable as some other entries, I might have gone for it. As it is, I just deleted the game and chalked the time up to lessons learned.
