Kind of annoying if you bought keys ### 3/5 — Cute and fun but sad it appears to be abandoned *2024-07-30* I only just found out about this game recently and have been having fun with it, but I’ve noticed a decent amount of bugs (text only showing up half-onscreen, the background animations resetting until you buy an upgrade and they remember to animate again, the gems/second counter disappearing when you buy upgrades, etc.) and upon checking this game hasn’t been updated in 5 years which is a huge bummer. I liked it enough to get $2 worth of keys for the cute cookie dragon, and probably would eventually buy more if there was some indication of life for development, but sadly it seems not to be the case :( ### 4/5 — A solid cookie clicker *2024-06-30* This game is exactly what it promises to be, and it aged well considering the trend seen by other games that are full of aggressive loot boxes and ads. This game by comparison is extremely friendly for F2P and like other Artix / AQ games is very affordable if you do want to spend any money. The reason why I write this review though, is to raise attention to some of its dysfunctional promotional links and that viewport scale is broken on modern iPhones (which cuts off the sides of the screen). Would you guys mind fixing that? But quite a few upgrades for all dragons but the first green dragon have bugs on them that prevent you from even seeing them let alone buying them. Which makes it hard to play the game and enjoy it especially if you wanted to get all the achievements. The art and animations are well done but some of the dragon's heads will clip off the edge of the screen. The game has issues, like the lore book upgrades not appearing for some dragons (iirc the slime, shadow, ice and gold dragons, but probably others), the gems per second bar disappearing when you evolve/hatch dragons until you close the app, and if you get a dragon key from the click bonus that key is lost if you close the game. I put in a bug report about upgrades not appearing a year ago, but the bugs haven't been fixed. Hopefully with a bad review they might actually take notice. **Developer response:** Hello! I have also encountered the problem where when viewing more than 2 dragons at a time the upgrade panel appears empty. Fixes would be appreciated ### 2/5 — Brilliant but really bad! *2016-04-30* So I have been playing the game and then finally get the cookie dragon and I hatched it so it was in baby form and then I came of then came back on a day later and the dragon was back in its egg form and I still had all the gems I had collected but now there is no way to hatch it again I'm gonna tell you now if you fix this I will give 5 stars and then I will continue playing as well ! Seriously? *2016-12-31, version 1.0.60* This is stupid. I can't believe I have to have 1 trillion gems just get 10 stupid keys to be able get another dragon. It's taking FOREVER to get that many gems. You need to lessen the cost on keys so people can get new dragons easier. People don't have time to sit and tap a gem 1 trillion times. "Oh, there are holes that completely defeat the purpose of a bag? Well, at least it's free!" I've never had to reset any other app, mobile device, electronic equipment, house, anything... Anything in the whole world has never had to be reset as many times in a 24 hour period as I had to reset this game. ### 1/5 — FIX THE GAME *2015-08-23* A full ad tries to appear but it's just a white screen that you can close down, so I have to shut the whole game and reopen it, it's SO ANNOYING!!! Happened every time I’d load the game. Then suddenly the problems start happening OUTSIDE of the game, in the iPhone itself. I deleted the game from my phone and my GameCenter, hopefully that clears it out. But whoever they’re using to advertise has a problem with their adverts spreading malicious malware, so buyer beware! And know since it's possible maybe you could possibly add some new dragons for example an Earth dragon, magic dragon, life dragon.
