When you watch an ad for free gems you never get the gems. And recently I started playing again after a year or so and could not get into my old account, it brought up an error message. Now I’m starting from scratch, which is really frustrating because this getting stronger in this game takes a lot of time (daily check ins, etc). ### 2/5 — Not bad; no development *2017-08-16, version 1.7.0* The game isn't bad until you max level and then nothing changes. There are no improvements or advancements. You just kinda sit there and auto-farm. Even Freemium isn't horrible as everything can be had with time. I'm truly addicted so much so I have put money into the game which I don't typically do! Great part is u don't need money or much of it to be highly competitive! Sadly I'm currently trying to reach out to devs for some help so hopefully they see this and can help me and other players in the same boat! See I recently broke my phone and got a new one but I cannot login to my old account! I have nearly 1m atk power on that registered account! So very depressing to lose! Top 15 spot on server and all! Now that I have had to start over I'm not even obtaining rewards for watching videos like I am suppose to! If these issues get fixed its a definite five star rating! Until then I'll leave it at 2.5 mainly because of the lost account! It allows you to watch videos but receive nothing for it. I've submitted over 2 support tickets and have received NO RESPONSE. This is a ridiculous and simple glitch yet they appear to have put no effort into fixing it, customer service needs work. ### 1/5 — Can be Fun and addicting *2016-09-26, version 1.4.0* But I watch a lot of the free videos and I don't get my gems. I feel as if they still get revenue for us the players watching the videos but we don't get any rewards. kinda irritating especially if new players can't spend real money to get gems. Or they spend time clicking that bat, if it doesn't work why not fix it or remove it? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Old Player returning, can’t play *2019-10-14, version 1.7.1* I played this game back in 2016, I had tons of time invested then stopped playing. I decided to pick it back up recently and can’t remember my password. THERE IS NO WAY TO RECOVER YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU LOSE IT. So if you do decide to play pick a password you can remember for over 3 years I guess. There is no way to reach out to devs or anything. ### 1/5 — So close, but dismal failure *2018-07-13, version 1.7.0* There is so much potential with this app and with this concept. Unfortunately, instead of active development, it’s more of a cash cow. Only, it’s not worth paying for this app. There are multiple servers in which to play, to help with load balancing. However, purchases pertain to only one server rather than the entire app. Servers also do not communicate with each other to share heroes or inventory. They are restricted and self-contained. Initial play is a blast, gaining advancement and levels but quickly turns into either grinding forever or spending money, which only helps you initially and then back to the same grind. There is little difference in purchased or won items. The gold system is meaningless, as it’s easy to acquire gold that does nothing for you. Heroes only advance in a training, instead of recognizing the “world” experience when battling monsters or others. There are decent incentives to participate in events, but the events simple rinse and repeat without real depth or meaning. This app needs tons of improvement to bring it back to relevancy or any type of vibrancy. Again, the foundation, the ground work is there, it’s built. Now it’s time to do something spectacular with it. ### 1/5 — Lost everything! *2018-06-07, version 1.7.0* Not sure what happened, but now the app won’t recognize my login information. The last major update on this one was last December. Important game features behind multiple paywalls that are not clearly priced. Since whatever update has occurred, this game has been circling the drain. The rate at which you get anything useful has dropped significantly and it's become crystal clear that this company is only out for the money. Drop rates of legendary souls and heroes were much higher before, but now nearly all of the heroes I receive are the same ones and the only way to get the newer ones is essentially buy your way there. I don't see myself playing this game any longer as my progress has come to a stand still. I'm sorry I don't want to spend every paycheck on an already dismal game. I looked at this and thought maybe it was a strategy game. Nope, this is something you play where you hit play and can look away because it plays itself. The only thing you do in the game is equip your heroes with something and hit the play button. While the art style is ok, there's no gameplay to be found. I've played this for a good 30 minutes and did nothing. At least nothing from my standard. The game thinks i defeated 3 bosses and I didn't lift a finger. Another thing is that this game hasn't put the microtransaction curse on me yet but i see a mile away. So it's pretty obvious their aim is at people who don't enjoy thinking and will just buy what they want you to buy. Instead of making cookies or building your fake business you are getting strong. The fun comes from collecting characters and items and optimizing your progress. I image later in game (not there yet) when I have 12 maxed out legendaries the fun will come from being able to choose the right team for the right fight. Only concern was a server crash that lost me a few days of progress BUT i emailed the team and they were quick to fix the problem for me. I like this game!!!! ### 5/5 — Very fun! *2016-12-03, version 1.4.0* A friend of mine and I are highly enjoying this game! Our only complaint is there needs to be more I Am Legend recipes. Once you hit about level 100, you begin accumulating so many epics there's nothing to do with them. At that stage in the game you also need specific legends and champions to progress. If there was more recipes it would give you something to use those epics on, and allow you to focus on the legends you need or want to progress. ### 5/5 — Fun game. *2016-11-18, version 1.4.0* All in all it's a great game. Not often I say this. But I fully disagree how you must spend money to Win. It's not as fast with out spending. It will take a bit longer. But it can be done. I've seen people complain about summons. It's all random. People can try to say it's not but it is. Such as last summon event. I had a bit over 100 summons. I got three legendary hero's when a person in the guild I'm in had more summons. And got none. So it's just random luck. ### 5/5 — This game is great but… *2016-10-03, version 1.4.0* So I absolutely love this game it's fun it's addictive and the community is awesome I can spend so long just texting in the chat and I like everything but I do think that the arena thing where u don't gain your tries back overtime should be changed to where u can do that but I've only been playing this 2 days and I love it and this game is actually the only game I like that is made like this ### 5/5 — Seriously awesome *2016-09-18, version 1.4.0* So I looked through some of the reviews and felt like people were being ridiculous. The gambling is a bit underwhelming and the content is somewhat gated by daily quest resets and levels but overall as far as phone games of this type are concerned this is the best one out there. And hopefully they continue to work on it and add some more repeatable content that feels rewarding for time spent playing.
