### 4/5 — It was good but…

*2025-06-08, version 1.8*

Sorry but the controls feels clunky and stiff!

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2022-02-12, version 1.7.1*

I’m so glad I have an IPhone, so I can play this great game! 😊📱

### 5/5 — Love the game

*2022-02-12, version 1.7.1*

So the demo is amazing but I don’t have a credit card or a bank account and I’m young black boy and this game is amazing but I’m kinda broke but love the game anyway

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2022-02-12, version 1.7.1*

Love the game to unlock the full game is just 0.99 cents it’s super affordable!

### 5/5 — I love it but

*2021-11-21, version 1.6.1*

Please make it iPad compatible and add controller support.
This game has so much potential.
Also, with touch controls, buttons sometimes don’t respond. I think it’s an issue of multiple touch point of the screen you know since the player is touching the joystick at the same time too.

But again, plz make it iPad compatible and add controller support.
I just love it.
Thanks mate.

### 4/5 — Pleased. Great purchase.

*2021-10-12, version 1.5.3*

Very please to have a easy enjoyable game, it’s fun and something all the family can play, it’s got that Oldskool feel and I’m loving the soundtrack. The array of creativity in the characters is what I really liked. From my research this is the 1st game from the developer so looking forward to part 2! ‘’hint-hint’’ Saw another review stating one of the reviews was from the developer himself. Lol I had to laugh as if I created this game I would defo rate myself. Well done developers Great Game!

### 5/5 — Love this timeless game 🤩

*2021-09-01, version 1.5.3*

Such an amazing art style and game play. I find myself coming back it over and over again. A must have 🤌👍🏻

### 5/5 — Great little game

*2021-02-16, version 1.5.3*

Fun little gem, I would pay again to see a update/release for iPads.

### 5/5 — Sweet game, couldn’t stop playing it

*2020-11-11, version 1.5.1*

The game’s graphics are awesome, easy to use controls and each level unlocks new moves. So much fun to play-all the nostalgia of retro gaming made even better with the diversity of characters/themes. Worth the price!

### 4/5 — I Kidd You Not

*2020-11-03, version 1.5.1*

Smooth animation. Fun power-ups. Varied enemy’s. Good controls.

Unfortunately, it’s quite short and there’s no specific story.

Overall, a great time.

### 5/5 — This game is 🔥

*2020-09-10, version 1.5.1*

Brings back so many good memories of having to blow Nintendo cartridges to get them to play, and old school pixelated dbz gifs I used to have in my sig on old gaming forums!

### 5/5 — Great Game

*2020-06-06, version 1.5.1*

Great game, well worth the $0.99. Nice take on old school beat-em-up game. Definitely short but great way to support a nice little indie game.

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2020-05-09, version 1.5.1*

I’m late, I know. I actually don’t write reviews, but I felt like this game deserved one.
It was awesome! Just so awesome. I loved everything about it— especially the art. It was also pretty nice to see the main character be someone who looked like me and the people around me. If you’re thinking about buying this game, it’s definitely worth the money. You’ll have a great time, trust me. I had a lot of fun. (I don’t know if the dev is reading this but, god this was so good. Please make more games or add more levels, you’re really talented ❤️❤️❤️)

### 5/5 — Sweet, Simple, Short

*2020-04-20, version 1.5.1*

A very nice game that’s not too hard nor too easy. Really enjoyable to pass the time with, and it’s very reminiscent of older games I used to play. Something about them is just more addicting...
Couldn’t help but to write a review for this game. Lovely!

### 5/5 — Just right just needs a little tweeks

*2020-03-31, version 1.5.1*

The game is amazing but I noticed when I tried to load the last level it kept on crashing also I would love if there was multiplayer and some new moves please in general the game is great 😇

### 4/5 — Nostalgic and fun

*2019-12-22, version 1.5*

I’ve only played the first level so far— a forest- but already got a good impression of the game. It does remind me of the old beat ‘em up games in the best way! I like how the controls are simple, the funky music is nice and the cutesy pixelated graphics suit it.

The only thing is that it doesn’t look like there are that many levels— 6 different locations total FYI. Which means it won’t take very long to play through. However, if you’re looking for nostalgia and no IAP’s or ads to distract you then look no further. Hopefully more content will be added in the future.

### 1/5 — Não curti

*2024-11-30, version 1.8*

Mo sem graça

### 1/5 — 6 stages, too short

*2023-04-06, version 1.8*

It’s a great little game, 1st and 2nd stage free, $0.99 to play 3,4,5, and 6 then end of game. Not worth my dollar sorry

### 1/5 — Not worth it!!!

*2019-06-28, version 1.4.1*

You’ll be done with the game in less than 20 minutes...

### 1/5 — The worst game ever

*2019-06-23, version 1.4.1*

Dude I feel like I’m playing on a ps1 like this game is just kick kids and continue kicking them man I regreat buying this give me my cash back!

### 1/5 — Awful

*2019-06-19, version 1.4.1*

waste of money

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time of money

*2019-06-16, version 1.4.1*

You pay $3 for 15 minutes of gameplay. Not worth it at all

### 2/5 — Too short

*2019-06-19, version 1.4.1*

Fun but literally no substance to this game at all. Waste of money

### 3/5 — Has it's flaws

*2022-09-16, version 1.8*

The game is everything it says it will be and - gameplay wise - the enemies are interesting and challenging, the fighting feels fun and rewarding - and the powerups are nice little get out of jail free cards for when the going gets tough. I also love the mimics, clones and boss battles. That's what's good about the game.

Now what isn't...

This game is very very short, which i understand isn't necessarily a problem since a short game can be great and this game does have great replayability... But the problem lies in the fact that the game charges you to play every level after the first two. Again, i can understand that this is a game, made by a business, and therefore it has to turn a profit - which is perfectly okay. But this game is tiny, after the first two levels you've already played a third of the game and the rest of it costing money just seems strange. The money isn't a lot, but the principle is the main problem. If there were more levels then i could justify the price but what surprises me most is why don't they just make it that price on the app store itself? Idk it just feels like a bit of a slap in the face when a free game, that looks like a free game and is offered as a free game, turns out to not be a free game.

But the main problem is that it's buggy. It is presented as this clean-cut, cool, new, retro style beat-em-up that will bring people back to the days of arcade with interesting yada yada etc etc. It is almost all of those things, it isn't clean. From invisible enemies to crashing randomly and a plethora of broken animations, this game is buggier than it looks. Although in this game's fairness because i do want to point out that I DO LIKE THIS GAME... i only really saw the bugs on the last level on my first play-through, but now that i've beat the game (it crashed during the final credits btw) i get them like constantly, idk if it's just bad luck or if there is a reason it seems more buggy now than before.

Also i mean, just to quickly mention this as well, clearly a lot of these positive reviews are by the company whoever pointed that out first deserves a medal.

Anyway. I liked this game. It was fun, it accomplished what it was supposed to, i'm glad I played it. I was critical of it because a review needs to point out the flaws and this game, while great, has major flaws. I will continue to replay it and i really hope the team behind it has the best of luck fixing the bugs, and i also think that adding a price tag to this game in the app store as opposed to in game might be a smart move to both make the game feel more honest to its players without changing the revenue earned.

Also, please don't take this review as a fully negative one, it's only constructive criticism. The bugs were annoying but y'know, they didn't make me angry at the game, like the invisible enemies were pretty funny all in all, especially on the cloud level when little clouds would just float around and knock me down by themselves. And that could honestly be a great idea for another level idea - enemies that could go invisible. Anyway, this is just my 2 cents, take it however you like and thanks for a fun time!

### 3/5 — Decent

*2019-06-17, version 1.4.1*

For some reason my review was overwritten - apple App Store bugs..

Anyways. I had previously written that the game is a little over priced for $2.99. It’s more of a $0.99 game right now due to only 6 levels, the first two of which I got through in 15 minutes. The gameplay is kinda repetitive with the same basic move set over and over.

The developed had responded that they were adding more free content and gameplay coming up. That would be good but the price should be reflective of what it is currently.

I generally only buy and support games without in app purchasing - really hate IAP and sub models. So definitely support the devs as I feel they put some hard effort into it. But they need to add more to charge $2.99.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2025-03-02, version 1.8*

It fun everywhere I can play it at School

### 5/5 — Wishing it was more

*2025-02-23, version 1.8*

Comic Zone was one of my favorite games and this definitely reminds me of it. Just about every mobile game is the same, the hero is always the same and the in game purchase is always bank breaking. I looking forward to seeing further development, quality and graphics. Different equipment (street gear) that increases his strength, speed, durability and duration of his clones; caps/durags, hoodies/jackets, shirts, pants/shorts, shoes/crocs, Afros/braids. More items, stages and interactions probably more character selections. This is the first mobile game I played that is wallet friendly and while I’m not a whale I don’t mind spending money on games I really enjoy. I would love to play as homie in the hoodie and level up his skills. I know I said that just about every mobile game is the same but I meant character wise. I would really like to play a game that I can relate to that brings my childhood fantasy of having battle adventures on a device. I lost mine but I wonder if this game is compatible to the Backbone Mobile controller?

### 5/5 — I LOVE IT

### 5/5 — I love this retro game

*2024-11-08, version 1.8*

Playing this game brought back memories of my childhood retro adventure games. I love the fact that it only charged u $1.99 to finish the game besides that this was an awesome game. No ads n there definitely wasn’t any in app charges for a character or powers. I hope there’s a part 2 to this game coming or an update where more levels come onto this game. Dean thanks for this one. We need an “Adventures Of Kidd 2” with no in app purchases or ads again. 5stars
