This is just a awesome game remade with colour and smoother graphics, and the bug at the loading screen has never happened to me and I’m using a old buggy iPhone 8 for crying out loud! I loved the original game boy final fantasy legend of mana 1 and this just allows me to actually save my game and enjoy it with colour and less frustration. Over all I think this game is worth it. As I understand it, it is a remake of an old GameBoy game. The updated 3D graphics make the scenes look devoid of life, the controls are encumbering, and the plot is ham fisted. In Cloud Save/Load menu, Latest Save's MP is copying HP's number and Quicksave's GP is copying Lv's number. I’ll leave it loading for several minutes but nothing happens. Seems to be an issue with migrating from a 2018 device to what is now a 2020 device. Given the wider screen of the base iPad (now 10"), much text is now off-center. And I can't select a save file after having pulled over the data from my prior device. Is there a fix? For now, good game, but bad bugs knock off a star. D’autre part, des plantages intempestifs qui rendent impossible le chargement des sauvegardes, donc injouable… Je suis sous iOS 14 avec un iPad 8. Ce n’est pas la 1ère fois avec Squarenix puisque par exemple Final Fantasy IX est impossible à installer… Quand on connaît le tarif de leurs jeux, cela s’appelle de l’arnaque ! Oh, and you’ll spend a bunch of time looking at YouTube to figure out what to do next. I wasted 20 hours of my life on this only to get softlocked out of finishing the last castle because I ran out of keys. ### 1/5 — Broken *2023-09-07* The directional button gets stuck and now u can’t even start the game ### 1/5 — Game Ending Glitch *2022-10-25* Listen, I buy all the Square Enix games, every single Final Fantasy and these action RPG’s as well. But this game has a GAME ENDING GLITCH that occurs once you defeat Ifrit about halfway through the game! You get stuck outside of the dungeon without your Chocobo travel back over water and continue the story. It’s a shame, because it’s a really fun game up until that point. I won’t be asking for a refund because I like to support SE and hope they bring more games into the App Store, but please fix these type of things before releasing them. BUYER BEWARE! ### 1/5 — Badly needs bug fixes *2022-02-14* Extremely buggy, and when it crashes, the game can never be launched again without deleting and reinstalling the game. Love this game, and will change my rating once the bugs are FIXED. Since changing to an iPhone 12 and can no longer play. It gets stuck on the loading screen when attempting to play. Even closing the app the music still plays. Making sure the app is truly closed by swiping it up, the music still plays. Only way to stop the music is to turn my phone off. Can’t continue any save and I have to shut my phone off each time just to stop the music? About to play! ### 5/5 — Good but. *2024-02-17* 1st play through was ok. A good game. A lot of creatures can only be hurt by certain weapons. I found it tedious to constantly change weapons during battle to kills guys. The second playthrough seemed boring and I quite early. The replay value just wasn’t there for me. I replayed many NES games dozens of times and the replay value was awesome even though the graphics weren’t good. Still this is a good solid game. But now that I beat it, it’s now permanently shelved. I’d rather play this than any freemium game out there though. ### 5/5 — Better than Zelda! Plain. Simple. Definitely worth owning. ### 5/5 — Apparently I'm lucky *2024-01-19* So to start with, many reviews mention game breaking bugs, in two playthroughs I did not encounter any on an iPad Air 1st gen and iPhone 13. As for the game, it's great! It's a very faithful remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, or Mystic Quest if you're European, from the Game Boy. It has some quality of life improvements and a new soundtrack but it's fundamentally the same game, which is nice because said game is awesome! I bought this game so long ago I can't remember how much it was, but I do recall it being rather expensive so I'd advise grabbing it on sale. Great music and a simple but good story with unique areas and bosses to fight. In typical SquareSoft fashion, the updates often take a year or more to show up, but thankfully the most recent update fixed all the issues this game was having. ### 5/5 — No Mac Support but good on iphone *2022-04-18* Why are there no square Enix products supporting the M1 chipset from macOS? I’ve got a bunch of square Enix products in the past now when I was switching to macOS no tile can be downloaded from the App Store. Honestly, is there any chance you might fix this?
