Im Endeffekt funktioniert fast nichts mit dieser App. Gerät hinzufügen über QR Code? Fehlanzeige - der QR Code auf dem Gerät wird nicht erkannt. Also manuelle Auswahl des Model. Funktioniert. Manchmal. Meist kommt während der Konfiguration eine Fehlermeldung, dass “Model Name could not be set”. Dann darf man nochmal ganz von vorne Anfangen. Mit Glück hat man es nach 3-5 mal geschafft. Gerät mit anderen Bewohnern teilen. Die Funktion gibt es. Aber oh Wunder: funktioniert nicht. Selbst der QR Code, welcher von der App generiert wird, wird von der App auf dem anderen Gerät nicht erkannt. Wie kann man nur so schlechte Software releasen?! Also muss man das Gerät auf dem Zweithandy auch manuell hinzufügen. Aber nun ratet mal: danach ist es auf dem Handy/Account des anderen Handy nicht mehr verfügbar. Gerät ist an sich gut. App ist der letzte Schrott. Eine App war aber einer der Hauptgründe für den Kauf. Gerät geht also zurück. ### 1/5 — Terrible setup experience and buggy *2022-07-17* The set up is extremely unintuitive and buggy. The app tries to connect directly, but always fails and requires connecting via Access Point of the unit, which is not possible to turn on. I only managed to connect by chance as after many tries it randomly switched to AP mode - took me almost an hour of meddling with it until it worked. The app UI looks unfinished, the translation is appalling and it’s full of bugs (e.g. the fan speed control didn’t work, I get logged out every time I close the app). It’s a shame that such well respected brand as AEG would put something like this to production. ### 1/5 — Would not add appliance *2022-06-11* Useless. Appliance would appear to receive the Wi-Fi network: the Wi-Fi button went from blinking to steady. But the app times out trying to add the appliance, and just says to reset and try again. ### 1/5 — Schade um die Zeit *2021-07-26* Eine Verbindung mit dem Gerät lässt sich nur kurzfristig herstellen. Nach kurzer Zeit sind alle Daten verloren. Weitere Versuche scheitern. ### 1/5 — Keine WLAN Verbindung hergestellt *2021-07-18* Seit 30 min versuche ich das PX71 an mein WLAN Netz anzuschließen. Es fing damit an, dass der QR-Code des Geräts nicht gelesen wurde. Na gut, dann eben manuell. Nächstes Problem: Netzwerkverbindung konnte nicht hergestellt werden, trotz explizitem 2,4 GHz WLAN und Freigabe neuer Teilnehmer im WLAN. Anschluss über Access Point führte auch nicht weiter. „Air Conditioner“ als Access Point wurde nicht im WLAN-Netzwerk angezeigt. Jetzt gebe ich auf und hoffe dass meine über 80 Jahre alte Mutter mit den englischen Begriffen der Bedientafel zurecht kommt. Würde es gerne einmal erleben dass deutsche Gerätehersteller nutzerfreundliche und auf Anhieb funktionsfähige Netzwerkintegrationen hinbekommt. ### 1/5 — Keine WLAN Verbindung *2021-06-16* Leider ist es immer noch nicht möglich das Klimagerät mit meinem WLAN zu verbinden. It remembers my email and I ask it to remember my password but it seems to forget every few weeks. Erst Probleme mit der WLAN Verbindung. Als ich es nach langem hin und her schaffte, dass ich einen Schritt weitergekommen bin, hing ich an dem Punkt dem Gerät einen Namen zu geben. Ich werde definitiv nicht mein passwort deswegen ändern. Konfiguration ist fehlerhaft und Fernzugriff von außerhalb des eigenen Wlan funktioniert gar nicht, die App kann nur aus dem eigenen Wlan auf das Gerät zugreifen, folglich nutzlos... Der Kundendienst ist zwar nett, aber kann bisher keine besseren Vorschläge als „Neuinstallation, Neustart, etc“ anbieten... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Utter trash *2026-06-24* This app barely functions. To be clear, it shows a grand total of two products, the QR code reader fails half the time or doesn’t recognise the code, text entry is bizarre and clumsy. Electrolux, what the hell? I even contacted your customer support who more or less shrugged. Delist this app as it confuses people. It’s almost like someone jokingly published the half baked alpha version just to be a nuisance. Avoid. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-06-29* Signup was difficult. Once in the app, it doesn’t recognise the QR code on the side of the unit and manual setup doesn’t work. Resent page doesn’t work and just makes you angry as it is so stupid ### 1/5 — Why Bother? *2023-07-08* App is totally unfit for purpose - seemingly no testing done on it at all before releasing it to market. Seems to have been developed in a total vacuum vs the product itself which is really good. Difficult to register for an account, doesn’t connect properly, a complete pain to use - just ship your product with a remote and don’t bother having wi-fi connectivity guys, there’s no quality control on the app at all - I’ve seen no name brand products ship with more intuitive and user friendly apps. Drags my view of the brand way down. Ended up deleting the app from my phone - life is too short to mess around for more than an hour trying to figure out how to get this thing to connect. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2023-07-07* Nothing about this app is helpful or supportive. Instructions are unclear and in places make no sense at all (why are you asking for my router password before I’ve even connected to the device to give it said password? This step makes no sense). Incredible that such an expensive device can have such poor software. Honestly shameful. ### 1/5 — Nutzlose App *2023-06-19* Steuerung funktioniert nicht. „Gerät reagiert nicht". Account ist erstellt, im WLAN eingebunden, über diese wirklich schreckliche App eingerichtet und ansprechbar und die neuste Firmware ist ebenfalls installiert. Das funktioniert genau ein mal. Bei so einem teuren Gerät hätte ich mehr erwartet als so eine billige dahingeschluderte App. Als Kunde fühle ich mich verarscht. AEG war mal eine gute Marke. You need to read these things ### 1/5 — Update notwendig—-Geht so. *2023-01-19* Mit Mühe konnte ich mich registrieren. Da die Eingabefelder nicht so ganz ersichtlich sind. Das direkte Login über Apple müsste auch unterstützt werden. QR Code lies sich nicht scannen… Über manuell konnte ich aber die PX7 hinzufügen. Ansonsten wären noch ein paar HomeKit Kurzbefehle schön gewesen. Ist auf jeden Fall ausbaufähig und sollte an die neuste iOS Version angepasst werden. Auch im einfaches Bedienen zu ermöglichen. Auch lustig Copyright 2017 🤪 Bitte mal ein Update mit Anpassungen an den Stand der Technik. ### 1/5 — Frustrating! *2022-07-19* This app is terrible. Took several attempts to actually connect to the Aircon unit, then works infrequently at best. (The app itself thinks it’s the ‘Electrolux’ app half way through setup - I understand part of the same group, but still a poor show). Tried to set up the scheduler; as soon as you try to set the temperature (arguably the most important setting…) the app crashes and closes! Would give this app 0 stars if possible! ## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — 5 Sterne nur für die Aufmerksamkeit! *2025-06-20* Die App an sich funktioniert nicht (nichtmal das Verbinden von Geräten). AEG hat bis heute nicht kommuniziert, dass man nicht diese App, sondern für bspw. die Comfort 6000er Reihe die normale „AEG“ App nutzen soll. Die funktioniert tadellos! Die Home Comfort App hat eigentlich 0 Sterne verdient. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2022-08-23* Easy to set up and works really well. Clearly those moaning about it can’t beat it up correctly. I’d give them 1 star! The App gets 4. Would be great to get Home Kit functionality. ### 3/5 — Verbindet nicht *2019-06-12* Update: Die Verbindung mit der App klappt mit einem extra-kurzen WLAN Passwort. Extra im Router geändert. Dann geht sogar ein Firmware Update. Damit gibt es jetzt grade so drei Sterne, denn Timer und Steuerung vom PX71 klappen gut. Originalbewertung: Die App schafft es nicht die Klimaanlage zu finden. Einrichtung klappt weder mittels QR Code, noch Manuell über AP-Methode. Hat also streng genommen nichtmal einen Stern verdient. WLAN Knopf am Gerät muss man länger drücken bis es piept, dann geht die Wi-Fi LED an. Jetzt kann man in der App das Wlan-Kennwort Konfigurieren. Das schlägt sofort fehl, aber nach etwa einer Minute Piept es und in der LED Anzeige erscheint „AP“. Jetzt kann sich das Handy mit dem Klimagerät über ein eigenes WLAN verbinden. Öffnet man nun wieder die App bricht die Konfiguration ab und der Spaß beginnt von vorn 👌🏼Lösung: Ein neues WLAN Passwort im Router extra kurz einstellen. ### 2/5 — Abstützen und Planer ohne Timer Funktion *2023-05-31* Die App stürzt an dauert ab. Nicht ohne wlan an zu stellen. Planer ist ohne Timer Funktion, schade. ### 2/5 — Leider immer Abstürze *2022-07-05* An sich macht die App alles, was man erwarten sollte. Nur sobald man versucht, das Gerät zu konfigurieren und einen Zeitplan zu erstellen, stürzt unweigerlich die App ab. Mehr als wir eine erweiterte Fernbedienung kann man hiervon nicht erwarten. Was man zu gute halten muss: Wenn man das Gerät mit dem Netzwerk konfiguriert hat, und man einen hochwertigen Router besitzt, kann das Gerät auch aus dem 5 GHz Netz gesteuert werden. Lediglich die Konfiguration muss im gleiche 2,4 ghz Netzwerk stattfinden. ### 2/5 — Timeouts? *2020-06-27* Immer wieder klickt man auf das Konfigurierte Gerät innerhalb der App und erhält die Meldung „Geräte-Reset, konfigurieren sie bitte erneut.“ Irgendwann geht’s dann aber doch - warum auch immer. Sehr unzuverlässig und nicht Vertrauenserweckend. Stelle mir vor ich will das von unterwegs steuern damit meine Katzen nicht umkommen - und dann geht der Kram nicht.
