## What is AElink?

AElink is the installer's app for Nedap access controllers. Connect your phone to a new controller on site, find it on the network and set it up for your AEOS server, without a laptop.

How it works
1. Power on the controller and wait until its LED is solid green.
2. Connect your phone with a USB-C Ethernet adapter and a network cable: to the site network, or straight to the controller with your phone's Ethernet tethering.
3. AElink finds the controller by itself. Tap it, log in and edit its configuration.

What you can do
• Find controllers on the local network automatically, filter the list by name or MAC address, or connect to one by its address.
• Log in over SSH. The app remembers each controller's identity and warns you when it changes.
• Edit the controller's network, server, time and security settings. The app checks them before you write, then writes the configuration and activates it for you.
• Keep working after an IP address change: the app reconnects to the controller at its new address.
• Set the controller's clock to your phone's time when it is more than 5 minutes off.
• Store your default password on the phone, encrypted.
• Use the app in English or Dutch, in light or dark mode.

Supported controllers
AX8010. For other models, use AEconf.

What you need
• A phone with iOS 26 or later and a USB-C Ethernet adapter
• A network cable
• The controller's login

Who it is for
Nedap staff, partners and customer technicians who install Nedap controllers.

Privacy
The app only talks to the controllers you connect to. It sends no data to Nedap.
