## What is Aer?

Aer makes the air in North Macedonia easy to understand and act on.

See the current European Air Quality Index (AQI) for 35 cities, a plain-language verdict — "great day to be outside" or "limit heavy outdoor activity" — and a 7-day AQI forecast so you can plan ahead: the school run, a training session, when to open the windows.

HONEST BY DESIGN
Aer's data comes from the Copernicus (CAMS) atmospheric model via Open-Meteo. Values are modelled estimates and forecasts, not readings from a physical sensor at your exact location, and the app labels them as such. Health guidance is general information, not medical advice — if you have a medical condition, follow your doctor's guidance.

Aer is free, with no ads and no tracking. Your location is used only to pick the nearest city and never leaves your device.
