Doesn’t work… you would think with all the poor reviews air lingus would cruelly get there finger out and sort it or just delete it…. Customer feedback is consistently poor and for an organisation that claims t listed…. Well must be something blocking the old ears!!

Downloaded the app, it says “next “ to pair the device but there is nowhere to input the code.

I wanted to see what’s available for my flight later this week.  Aer Lingus recommends the app to see in-flight entertainment options, but it doesn’t recognize the flight details. Then when trying to see all in-flights movies it reads “no content available.” Why did I download this? If this doesn’t work on the flight, I’ll delete the app.

Aer Lingus needs to figure this out as it’s a terrible customer experience. The screen on the seatback says “easy peasy” to connect. Just enter this code. But even after following the instructions very carefully, connecting to Aer Lingus WiFi, etc., there is no place to enter the code. It gives the customer the sense that something is broken. If I were just to use the screen in front of me and not this app, I wouldn’t think anything was broken.

instructions on screen and in-app are terrible.  They give you a pairing code, but bluetooth does not connect. another review indicates it i uses wifi, which doesn't make sense at all.  i think the system is meant to use bluetooth but it's just broken.  junk app.

Not sure why this app gets no love. 
Works as advertised and for the price you can’t beat it!
When connecting to seatback over Bluetooth you do need to be pretty quick to accept the connection of the seatback screen before it times out. 

Works fine, no complaints from me.

I thought this would be an alternative to using the seatback screen to watch movies. All it is for is to choose your movie without touching the screen. But it’s not going to be available for us as the Wi-Fi is not available on our flight.

This app is a little useful because you can see what will be available to you on the flight.

However, since Aer Lingus charges for in-flight Wi-Fi (something which is not made clear prior to taxi), pairing it with the seatback will require you to pay to connect to the plane Wi-Fi, which in my opinion is not worth it.
