## What is Aergia?

Aergia is a screen time control app that helps you stop getting distracted and start using your iPhone more intentionally.

By adding a short pause before opening selected apps, Aergia gives you a moment to reflect and decide whether you really want to open the distracting app. Instead of fully blocking apps, Aergia uses gentle friction with a protective screen that helps you stay mindful and in control of your screen time.

In the free version of Aergia, you can select only one distracting app. In the paid version, you can select an unlimited number of apps. The settings let you choose the wait time in seconds before opening an app, as well as a grace period during which you can use the selected app without interruption. Strict Mode allows you to apply stronger limits with fewer bypass options when you need maximum focus.

Aergia also lets you track app usage with daily statistics and a 7-day overview for each monitored app.

Aergia is designed for focus, productivity, and building healthier digital habits without completely restricting access to your apps. Whether you're studying, working, or trying to stay present, small intentional pauses help reduce distractions and support deeper focus.
