## What is Aerial?

Aerial is a native media player for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. It plays the video files you already have, any stream address you paste, and live TV from your own M3U playlist or provider login. It comes with no channels, no playlists and no content of its own.

PLAYS ALMOST ANYTHING
• Apple’s engine for HLS and MP4, VLC’s engine for everything else, with automatic fallback
• MKV, AVI, TS, MP4 and more, with audio and subtitle track selection, delay and external subtitle files
• A live stream that drops is reconnected, and when your playlist lists the same channel more than once, Aerial moves to another copy by itself
• Buffering you can tune, deinterlacing, playback speed for on-demand video, and a stream info panel that shows what is really coming in

A REAL GUIDE
• Day picker, search and programme reminders
• Catch-up and live rewind where your playlist offers them
• Several XMLTV sources merged, with a time offset when a guide runs early or late

YOUR CHANNELS, YOUR WAY
• Hide, rename, renumber, reorder and group channels
• Lock categories behind a PIN; categories that look like adult content are locked by default
• Favourites, continue watching, and a strip of what is on your favourites right now
• Everything synced between your devices through your own iCloud

MADE FOR APPLE DEVICES
• Multiview: two to four channels at once on iPad, Mac and Apple TV
• Picture in Picture, AirPlay, Now Playing and Lock Screen controls
• Widgets, the Apple TV Top Shelf, Siri and Shortcuts, Spotlight and Handoff
• A real Mac app with windows, menus and keyboard shortcuts
• Eleven languages, including right-to-left layout for Arabic

NOTHING PHONES HOME
• No account, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no server
• Your logins stay in the device Keychain and are sent only to the server you entered

FREE, THEN FREE
Try every feature free for seven days: you start the trial yourself on the Aerial Pro screen, and nothing is charged automatically. Without the trial, live TV from your playlist, your own files and stream addresses, the guide, channel management and iCloud sync are free; video from your playlist shows a corner watermark. Aerial Pro removes the watermark and unlocks movies and series, catch-up and live rewind, multiview, more than one playlist, unlimited favourites and external subtitle files, with one purchase. There is no subscription.

Aerial is a player. It does not provide, recommend or link to any channels or video content, and has no relationship with any playlist or content provider. Use it with content you are entitled to access.
