## What is Aero?

Aero is a minimalist inventory tool designed for home kitchens to track ingredients through visual snapshots rather than complex spreadsheets. Unlike generic grocery lists, it focuses on the lifecycle of food by logging opening dates and specific expiry windows to prevent household waste. Each new ingredient record requires 99 in-app coins to save.

Many home cooks struggle with fridge blindness, where items at the back are forgotten until they spoil or duplicates are bought unnecessarily. Aero solves this by converting physical groceries into a digital gallery where you can filter by Expiring Soon, Opened, or Frozen status. You upload a photo of the item, set the shelf life, and the app generates a snapshot card that tracks remaining days in real-time. This mechanism ensures that you prioritize cooking what you already have, reducing both food waste and unnecessary spending. New users receive 100 coins to complete their first record, while viewing, editing, and archiving existing items remain available without additional coin costs.

When an item is finished, you mark it as used or discarded to move it into the Archive. You maintain full control over your data and can clear your local history or modify ingredient categories at any time.
