Still need to calibrate every so often but manageable. Lessons are ok and progress easy to follow. Even when the sticks get confused. But since few days, the lessons doesn’t load anymore. It gets lost in an infinite loop. The app had some promise, but as is it’s just not helpful at all. It does function as it should, as in I had no problems getting my drums connected to the app. Past that, everything else is a buggy mess. I’m glad I’m not stuck with using the app, as I’ve got the adapter unit to play through any speakers or wired headphones. ### 2/5 — Somewhat helpful *2024-01-20, version 2.3.3* It’s ok. The zones for the drum set are off from what I actually have set up, and there’s no way to change it right now. I also thought you could unlock different genres of music to play along to, but I know now that it is actually how the drums sound in the app. In “song mode” the beats you play with the pocket drums are actually a beat early, so you can hear them in time thanks to sound delay, so be careful when switching to real drums again. The developers should have waited for a more polished version before relaxing to public. I hate the electric pad sets because your not moving at all like real drums so these are pretty cool being that I haven’t had access to a real set in years. - then we come to the app. If yall would just spend some money on app development and fix all the issues give the app some learning abilities so it could learn and be unique to each player the. You'd really be on to something. The app is very buggy and low quality/difficult to use. I’m an amateur drummer so I was super excited for this because I haven’t had physical drums in years, but the delay of the hit to the sound, and the out of sync “games” make it super frustrating to use, since I know what it should actually feel like and sound like - and the app experience is totally off. Only played with this a few times, and very disappointed. Doesn’t really make sense to keep playing with it because of how bad the experience is. The drums aren’t where you’d expect them is one thing. But the delay from the action to the sound makes it completely unusable. Even the bass drum which is button pressed is a good 1/4second out. My number won’t get sent a code and when I try to do email the email they ‘sent’ never shows up. There’s no sound coming from my phone and I’m very confused. I registered and that’s pretty much what this app would allow me to do. Also it holds in portrait mode(horizontal) and even when rotating vertical stays in portrait mode. This is very disappointing. Perhaps they will fix the app to make it more user friendly. I can finally practice drumming just about ANYWHERE without bothering anybody. The app is almost decent but could be a lot better if they added more features. For starters, there is latency but with Bluetooth signals that’s expected with something like this. The sticks are also sensitive to the strikes but it’s air drumming so the only thing it’s hitting is air. They could most definitely and absolutely add a million more songs. I’ve loved drumming to the songs they do have and even though it can be difficult to hit notes right on the dot, I’ve enjoyed it. Although, I can definitely say if they don’t add more songs soon (songs that are enjoyable) then it will get boring in the near future. I could plug the sticks up to a daw but I really love what the app has going on. Another thing that would be nice is if they added a rewind, forward, play and pause buttons to be able to go to certain spots in the songs and practice in those certain areas. I’ve been having to start songs ALL over again just to go over one area again. This app could be so much more and I’m hoping the developers make a huge update to this in the future. This seems like something that could draw a lot of attention if better updates are made.
