Although the app developer claims that it would pick up NOTAMS within a specified buffer from the route (albeit with a disclaimer), it doesn’t. If this app also added the ability to incorporate METAR / TAFS’s and the ability to view offline NOTAMS by airport instead of route-wise, it would definitely deserve 5-stars, making it the best app out there! ### 3/5 — Fix required *2017-06-10* The latest version is crashing when refreshing the notams ### 3/5 — Not reliable in Canada *2017-02-23* It seems this app gives notams for major Canadian airports, such as Winnipeg or Toronto, but not all airports are included. It's missing enough of the smaller airports that I use that it is not worth using and probably even dangerous to use in Canada. This is really too bad, I have been waiting a long time for an app like this and would gladly pay a lot of money for one that works properly (and prevents me from landing at an airport at night when the lights aren't working). Perfect design, I love the notifications idea and map feature. Leider ist es nicht in Ordnung, für einen Dienst, der öffentlich zugänglich und kostenlos verfügbar ist, monatlich Geld zu verlangen. Auch nicht mit der Begründung, dass das App immer auf dem neusten Stand gehalten werden muss. Damit wird ein schönes App unattraktiv und niemand empfiehlt es mehr weiter. Abo kostet wenige Euro pro Jahr, das sollte es einem wert sein! ### 5/5 — A must have for a Professional Pilot *2020-11-19* I discovered this app a couple of years back as I was looking for an online resource to access NOTAMS. The app is now an invaluable tool for me for my preflight preparation. I am able to access NOTAMS of the airfields as per my requirement and configure them as per the route/sector that I am operating for the day. Grouping of NOTAMS into categories makes it easy to scan and prioritise reading the most relevant ones while having the full information available for a detailed read if required. ### 5/5 — Schöne, übersichtliche Darstellung! *2019-04-06* Eine nette App, um sich die NOTAMs übersichtlich darstellen zu lassen. Geht zwar auch auf der AIS-Seite, aber in einer App auf dem iPhone/iPad ist es doch komfortabler. Besonders das Anlegen von Routen finde ich in dieser App schön. 3,49 € pro Jahr sind völlig in Ordnung. Man bedenke: Als PPLer fliegt man Flugzeuge, die man pro Stunde für 200 € chartert. Da redet man wohl nicht über eine Gebühr von 0,96 Cent pro Tag. ### 5/5 — Incredibly Useful *2018-09-26* I have been a faithful user and subscriber to AeroNOTAM since its development, and can attest to its constant improvement and usefulness. As a professional pilot who operates to and from up to five different airports per day, staying on top of NOTAMS is a task; especially on a tight turn. The functions of AeroNOTAM to list the airports of my choosing, as well as provide an alert when a new NOTAM is posted, is indispensable. I can open it up, check the NOTAMS, and be enroute knowing that I am completely informed about airport and airspace status; all from the convenience of the flight deck. Sure, I could do the same from various websites, but this is much more organized and efficient. Time is money. Give it a try and I’m sure you’ll find it becoming a staple in your EFB. ### 5/5 — Excellent app! *2016-06-16* The best app for checking notams. It's VERY easy to miss an important one that could affect the flight, and this app makes is much, much easier for those important ones to stand out via the intuitive auto sorting/organization system. Excellent in terms of functionality and ease of use. Discovered a bug yesterday causing crashes which was communicated to the developers. It has been addressed in less than 24 hours with this prompt update.
