I buy BOTH! ### 5/5 — The best aviation magazine *2013-05-08* I have been involved in aviation for 40 + years, firstly as an aircraft engineer progressing to a heavy jet pilot. Aeroplane magazine has well written articles of aircraft that have been built for war and civil use. Also the biographies of pilots and ground personal are interesting. The magazine has the right balance of advertising and content. ### 5/5 — KhM *2013-03-23* Great APP for a great magazine. Forty four years of flying big jets and fifty eight years of air travel worldwide but one who always yearns for the good old days of aviation. ### 5/5 — Crashes *2012-12-30* Rubbish app. Takes an age to download an issue, then when you finally open it, it crashes after at most 5 minutes and won't open again. Tried reinstalling the app but to no avail. Do not install unless you want to pay for a magazine you can't read. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Key.Aero subscription *2023-01-28* Sadly this doesn’t work. You select the option of providing login from provider and you get a success message. Aaaannnd then the App crashes. There doesn’t appear to be a way to fix this. ### 1/5 — Rubbish App. Don't bother. *2014-04-13* Zero rating really. The ap downloads okay, but the issues take months to fuly download. Poor page settings on magazine. It is just a smaller version of the magazine so photgraphs over two pages are useless to the viewer. I won't be buying another e-edition. Stick with the real magazine, not the e-edition. ### 1/5 — Erratic Download *2012-10-31* Takes for ever to download and when it has, pages go black and can't be viewed. The latest issue thumbnails are missing. Issue download speed on fast connection is excruciating. Magazine definitely seems stable and downloads bordering on quick. Still no sign of the promised unique electronic only content, but at least you now get a useable electronic version of the paper magazine. ### 4/5 — Rob Midgley *2013-05-09* Previous bugs with freezing and crashing now totally gone. Great, clear rendering. Only improvement would now be to include functionality such as video access to more images, or web links rather than simply a copy of the mag. Fantastic magazine though: well written, accurate and informative. Well it is even better. Each issue downloads quickly. I can have access to all my old editions and flit between them. The quality of the pages is excellent and you can pinch them out for easier reading. It's great to be able to have all my favourite aeroplane magazines with me any time I get a chance to read.
