Also we used to have nice and fluent animation when tapping a NOTAM to fold it, now it feels jerky and no longer enjoyable. Please make a QoL fix thanks! ### 2/5 — Widget *2026-04-18, version 3.15.1* Widget stopped working after last update. ### 4/5 — NOTAM buggy *2026-04-09, version 3.15* If you get a NOTAM on the lock screen of an iPhone and tap on the NOTAM the app opens to the airport page. Once in the app click on the NOTAM tab and the app immediately crashes. If you filter the NOTAMs in the app, the lock screen notifications ignore your filtering. My favorite part is the widget. The biggest part that needs to get an update. Allow the widget to show the ATIS associated letter. I put in a number of waypoints along my common routes and this amazing app allows my to quickly see every airports weather along the route. It also is by far the easiest way to see all of your TAF’s. Finally, the runway winds are very easy to read graphics allowing an immediate view of the runway / wind conditions. The Apple Watch is great for seeing the METAR for a specific airport but sometimes, I think when the app updates, the complication stops working. This happens a little too often. But the latest update ruined the app by having a hideous blank white background behind the widget. The intention was probably to make the text more visible but now it looks horrible on my lock screen. I particularly like the calculation of crosswind component, and the ability to create a list of METAR stations to look at en-route for a longer flight. ### 5/5 — My go-to for aviation weather *2026-02-01, version 3.14.3* I use this daily. Good user interface, fast and easy to access the info I need. The subscriptions are good value for all the information and the developer updates the app regularly. Very happy with it. ### 5/5 — Please check my review *2026-01-19* I use AeroWeather very frequently and find it extremely useful. However, I have noticed a few issues that I hope can be improved. First, the METAR “RMK” (remarks) section is inconsistently displayed. In most cases, RMK does not appear at all. Interestingly, U.S. military airports such as RODN or ROTM almost always show the RMK section correctly, while most Japanese airports do not display it. This makes me wonder if there is a formatting or parsing issue depending on the METAR source or regional format. Since RMK often contains important operational information, I would really appreciate more consistent handling of this section. Second, regarding the Apple Watch version: there seems to be a feature to show nearby airports, but in practice it often displays airports that are not the closest ones, while nearer airports are omitted. Improving the logic for selecting truly nearby airports would make the Watch app much more practical. This is an app I rely on regularly, so I sincerely hope these points can be addressed in future updates. I fly the B787 now and my airline provides me with huge amounts of flight planning and weather data. But with AeroWeather in my pocket I’m able to get a head start on what my day looks like. Super convenient organization of all the airports I need, grouped together in an easy to read format. If you’re having issues then write them. The author ALWAYS responds to customer support emails. Nothing greedy about paying a few dollars a year to keep this program working. Initially it was the free version and then the Pro. It is outstanding value for money. I particularly like the ability to distinguish between ICAO and US weather definitions. Most other Apps don’t which is their weakness. ### 5/5 — Excellent App *2025-08-20, version 3.12.1* I have been using this app for many years as a commercial pilot and probably the best choice to check Notams and all other weather related information. Captain plan provides so many charts and sigmet which is so useful to download prior to the flight.
