Ruin your photos. Beautifully.

BADSCAN turns your camera into a broken copy machine: photocopy, riso, newsprint, thermal receipt, fax and cyanotype — live in the viewfinder, not as an afterthought filter.

No AI. No uploads. Every preset is a procedural print engine running fully on your device.

THE PRESSES
• BAD SCAN 01 — harsh threshold, toner grain, scanner streaks and dust
• RISO PINK — fluorescent duotone with heavy print grain
• NEWSPRINT — halftone dots on warm, yellowed paper
• THERMAL — receipt ink with banding and fade
• FAX 1994 — brutal 1-bit dither with line dropouts
• CYANOTYPE — prussian-blue contact print

DARKROOM CONTROLS
Push every preset your way: THRESHOLD, TONER GRAIN and TEXTURE sliders, with press-and-hold compare against the original.

SHOOT OR IMPORT
• Live viewfinder with the preset applied in real time
• Import photos and videos from your library
• Full-resolution export
• Every print comes out as a copy-shop receipt with its own copy number

MADE FOR PRINT NERDS
Square corners, ink borders, paper grain. The app itself looks like it fell out of a photocopier.

BADSCAN PRO (auto-renewing subscription)
• Yearly with a 3-day free trial, or weekly
• Unlocks all presets, video export, watermark-free output
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
